Five great ways to cook an egg
Tumblr media
Scrambled Eggs:
Combine the yolks and whites of the eggs in a bowl.
Adding a little oil or butter to a nonstick pan will help.
Continuously stir the eggs until they are just set in the pan. Adding salt and pepper is optional, but highly recommended.
Fried Eggs:
A skillet over medium heat should be coated with oil or butter.
Avoid breaking the yolk of the egg when cracking it.
Flip for over-easy or over-hard eggs, or cook until the yolk is clear but the white is still runny.
Boiled Eggs:
In a saucepan, cover eggs with water in a single layer.
Cook at a simmer after bringing to a boil. Cook for about 5-8 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
To peel eggs easier, transfer them to an ice bath after boiling.
Poached Eggs:
A gentle simmer is best. Consolidate egg whites with vinegar.
A bowl of water and an egg.
Whirl the simmering water into a gentle whirlpool, then carefully add the egg. The yolk should be runny after 3-4 minutes.
Baked Eggs:
Turn your oven on to 375°F (190°C).
Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Fill the dish with egg.
Depending on your preference, add herbs and toppings to the egg.
The yolk should still be slightly runny when the whites are set in the oven.

Breakfast around the World
Tumblr media
Every culture starts their day in a different way. Visiting abroad and looking for the breakfast they're used to can be a challenge since it's no longer a commonplace. Visiting Germany may be difficult for an American who enjoys bacon eggs and cheese on a bagel, whereas visiting the United States, a German might experience difficulty finding perfect baked bread and a cappuccino. As you prepare to travel overseas, we will explain what to expect when enjoying the best meal of the day.
Breakfast in America:
There are usually both sweet and savory options available as part of an American breakfast. Common items include pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs (prepared in various ways), and toast.
American households serve cold cereal with milk for breakfast.
Breakfast is commonly accompanied by pastries such as muffins, bagels, and doughnuts.
Americans often drink coffee with breakfast, making it a staple for many.
European Breakfast:
Pastries and bread are popular breakfast choices among Europeans. There is a common pairing of butter, jam, and honey with croissants, baguettes, and other types of bread.
Cold cuts and cheeses: A number of European countries serve breakfast that includes cold cuts, cheeses, and sometimes smoked fish.
Muesli and yogurt: A popular choice, typically topped with fresh fruit, is muesli and yogurt.
There are many different types of coffee, but many people also drink tea. It is popular among children, especially in some countries, to drink hot chocolate.
Asian Breakfast:
Asian countries often serve rice and noodles for breakfast. This can include congee (rice porridge) or various noodle dishes.
Often, Asian breakfasts include soup. Among the options are clear broths with noodles as well as heartier soups that include meat and vegetables.
Foods that are pickled and fermented can be included in Asian breakfasts in order to balance flavors.
Chinese cuisine dim sum, or dumplings, buns, and rolls, is a small, flavorful style of cuisine. Brunch is the most common use of it.
