After an eclipse, we must rest. The most pressurized moment of the year is now behind us, and it’s time for integration.
Eclipses, especially an eclipse in a perfect conjunction to Uranus, reveal things to us in shocking ways. We see how power dynamics really work, or discover something profound about a friend or loved one, recover a forgotten memory, or are otherwise awash in shadow contemplation/confrontation.
And so now, having moved past that, how can you re-regulate, and come to a feeling of stillness? Gentleness with ourselves after big astrological events allows us to fully immerse ourselves in the messages we’ve received.
Take the next few days for contemplation, prioritize sleep, make inroads to the underworld via dream, art, or meditation, and move softly.

On Tuesday November 8th, we’ll move through our second eclipse of the season, the part two which responds to the dark call of eclipse part one, the Scorpio eclipse, which occurred on October 25th.
The Taurus/Scorpio polarity weaves together the opposed topics of body and soul, visible and invisible, tangible and intangible, plain language and secrets, earth and water, birth and death.
Taurus, a fixed earth sign ruled by Venus, symbolizes the truth of the earth herself, the foundation we stand upon, earth as body, womb as world, senses as sovereign.
Scorpio, a fixed water sign ruled by Mars, contains depth and riches invisible to the naked eye, and tells stories of the fortune we can find within our most ferocious truth.
The North/South Node light up topics of bodily autonomy, obsession, control, psychic sight, resources like money and resources of shadow, and this second eclipse is coming in bull-heavy.
The eclipse will occur at 16° Taurus, with Uranus positioned perfectly conjunct the Moon, signifying that shocking reveals, sudden changes, strange innovations, and the unexpected will be on offer. In fact, these Uranian themes are being felt in the days leading up to the eclipse, as we all scramble to find solid ground the past few days.
Uranus holds court opposite the Sun, Venus, and Mercury, who all take their turn in the earthquake-alembic that Uranus brings to the table, shaking up our perceptions of self, of love, and of language.
It’s been noted that here in the U.S. our midterm elections are on the 8th, perfectly coinciding with the fated rays of the eclipse, a strange but absolutely important puzzle piece in this year’s unfolding for the American collective.
Uranus is still in his square with Saturn in Aquarius, and we can attribute much of this year’s destabilizing activity on that ongoing square.
I don’t have any advice at the moment, as I navigate eclipse waves alongside everyone, but the best I can say is that during eclipses, we watch and we wait.
Fated events unfurl themselves, and we are pushed forward alongside them. Be present with what’s coming up for you right now, as it’s likely got tendrils in much of your heart at the moment.
Be present, be soft, and be kind to yourselves and all you come into contact with. Eclipse love, Cristina
