electrification quirk | headcanons

⚡the brain uses 20% of the human body's energy

⚡a resting neuron inside the brain functions with 0.07 volts.

⚡discharging all or large amounts of currents affects the body, especially the brain that only requires to function in an amount = reason for brain short-circuit

⚡short circuiting is when the body uses all of the wattage stored, including the brain's. the brain goes blank at that moment as the currents were ran through it at the discharge, rendering them a dunce as their brains were practically "fried" out of proper function (currents in replace of synapses)

⚡when the "frying" state disappears, a headache would set and the user is just blank or has passed out

⚡therefore charging themselves after the "frying" wears off brings them back to normal since recommended brain volts are stored back

⚡charging themselves is just made WHEN they used up all of the volts, including the brain's or whether they just wanted to have some reserve and use for training

⚡handling or charging with large amounts at a normal day could be dangerous when brushing with other's, touching anything with electricity, sneezing, being under radio stations (etc.) and thunderstorms

⚡sleeping with it could be an equivalent to charging

⚡the body's natural electricity (nerve impulses) is NOT USED they have a natural guard on this (if not, they would probably be comatosed if they had released all of their currents as THE HEART NEEDS ELECTRICAL IMPULSE!)

⚡by training, the user would develop this kind of guard for their brain also guarding it from "frying"

⚡although not everyone has the same problem of "frying" at first, some might have problems on range but can easily make an appliance explode (sounds like a lightning quirk tho)

⚡but anyway, where do they store their currents? at their body? in their nerves? possibly, some of the effects on using it on the body is twitching of the eyes, anxious and impulsive behavior

⚡they might have an ADHD-like disadvantages at first, that could be fixed with training

👉the attack depends on how the electricity is handled

⚡voltage = volts, this is how the electricity want to FLOW (the one that speed and spreads)

⚡current = amps, this is how MUCH is the electricity is (the one that could kill in large amounts or nah in small amounts)

⚡resistance = ohms, this is what handles or resist the electricity, basically the user

ℹ️in denki's case yet;

- he cannot control the flow (therefore it is said 1.3m V),

- the current he could consume stays at the way where he could just stun/burn (USJ; villains were not dead, therefore about a 0.0021 amps? or 150mA?)

- and he lacks resistance (he cannot minimize the flow of the voltage into a single line without the pointers, therefore 0 ohms?)

💭more thoughts:

⚡momo and kyouka may be scared when a villain with electrification quirk held denki, because as an adult with proper handling of the quirk could kill him
