It kills me how everyday the posts and content about Palestine decrease because of how many people are getting killed everyday.

It also kills me how many stopped boycotting or has never even tried to boycott.

Somethings are so small to do and easy yet people don't even bother when it's a genocide that has been going and going and going not since October 7th but for decades.

there is an insane amount of antisemitism floating around right now.

i just want to say:

this blog loves and supports jewish people.

this blog does NOT conflate the israeli government, or the atrocities it commits, with jewish people.

this blog is disgusted with those who use or express antisemitism.

this blog knows that if someone needs to invoke antisemitism, they do not actually care about helping palestine or the palestinian people.

this blog will do its best to insure that it remains a safe space for all.

This is a pattern amongst white people in general when speaking to people of color, but now I’m seeing it more and more when it comes to discussions with Palestinian people, and that’s the condescending attitude and tone some of y’all take when you personally don’t agree with something.

It’s almost like you view us as less intelligent, not capable of understanding complex issues or systems like you guys do, so you explain things in a manner like you’re dumbing it down for the “lesser folk” who couldn’t possibly know what they’re talking about. I saw this with a Palestinian person yesterday*, who was making a connection between the insistent bombing in Gaza and the rapidly deteriorating climate, and someone (✋🏻) condescendingly told the original poster that “that’s not how bombs work” and insisted they were just making stuff up to be upset about.

You guys claim you value our opinions, you claim you want to uplift our voices, but when we do speak out about something and you personally don’t agree with the statement you take on the attitude of a kindergarten teacher speaking to a toddler.

When documentaries come out, boycott the ones who call this a victory for Israel.

When books release talking about soldier's personal experiences with Palestine, remember the victims. Remember the truth.
