For #NationalSaveTheEaglesDay on #Woodensday:
Kiddie-car ride-on (eagle) S. A. Smith Mfg. Co., Brattleboro, VT 1915-20 painted wood Strong National Museum Of Play 75.915
"Ride-on toys, or kiddie cars, first appeared on the paved sidewalks and streets of America in the early 20th century. The earliest ride-ons depict animals such as swans and horses. Ride-on toys made around the time of World War I often reflected America's intense patriotism. "The ingenious design of this tricycle presents the head of the bald eagle, symbol of American strength and pride. The eagle's outstretched wings serve as handle bars, and the tail is secured by the seat in the form of a federal shield. Although manufactured in Brattleboro, VT by the S. A. Smith Mfg. Co., this kiddie car has the feel of a piece of proud folk art."

흑인 아이 표정이 백인아이들 사이에서 부담스러워 하는 모습이군요!😠

In 1958, in Belgium, our black children were put in zoos—treated as less than human for the entertainment of others. And let’s be clear, this wasn’t an isolated act; it was a common practice across Europe and the U.S. And yet, after centuries of oppression, they want to tell people of African descent to forget. But we will not forget or forgive. We will remember, we will unite, and we will reclaim our dignity, our history, and our future as a strong, self-determined people.

Finally, after both of them had overcome near-death experiences and trials,
and were rescued by Jennifer Walters, an American woman who was doing medical volunteer work in Phnom Penh,
I drew them recovering their health and regaining their appetite.
I drew the fried rice that comes with pineapple that I saw in Cambodian introduction documentaries and videos.

She is more of a rival than a lover with the war hero and disabled prosecutor Dear Daniel,
and as the founder and representative of White Law Firm, she lives as a lawyer who deals with criminal, family, and property litigation,
and Cinnamoroll, who learned from her and helped him as a junior lawyer, went on to become an independent lawyer,
and My Melody thinks of her as a fool who only has a lot of knowledge.
Pompompurin thinks of him as a fool who is full of stubbornness and ambition.
She is the polar opposite of Kuromi, but he also has a very small sense of sympathy for her.

They became companions without knowing each other, and while gathering food in deserted villages and temples,
Leiji, Ryuichi, and Masashi, who brought Mikumo, who was left alone, with them
Once again, I drew a picture of Cambodia at the end of the Khmer Rouge and the beginning of the Vietnamese invasion regime.
For the first time, I drew Naruhodo Ryuichi holding baby Mikumo as a Cambodian boy,
and the communication and cooperation between Naruhodo and Mikumo still stimulates the imagination.
Anyway, Mikumo's father, who was taken in like that and ended up accompanying her, was a target for purge, and when the Khmer Rouge's tantrums grew stronger and the situation became more uncertain,
he escaped alone with his sick body to save his daughter, and barely survived in a place that became a ghost village,
and eventually died, leaving the young and reckless Mikumo alone, and soon after, Yahari, Mitsurugi, and Naruhodo found her and
took her away.

In 1979, when defeat was decided due to the invasion of Vietnam,
They left the forced camps they were in,
met each other for the first time, and began their journey of survival as companions.
This time, Larry Butz is not a pure Khmer,
but a young soldier who is a technician who is good at handling electricity and bombs.
Wright, like Akira, the director of the Cambodia Landmine Museum in reality, grew up with soldiers and laborers without even knowing who his parents were,
and Miles Edgeworth's father was a first-class civil servant in the Lon Nol regime, and he was killed and worked separately at a dam construction site.
