Day 1 of 100 of being productive
6:00 am I woke up and had breakfast
7:20 am I left for work (it's a 40 minutes drive)
8-12 am: work
12-13:30 pm: lunch with a friend
13:30-16:30 pm: me and my friend went to our uni to study.
My plan was to go back home and study some more, but I ended up falling asleep lol

10pm | a snack, leisure
11pm | session three, one hour session, 50:10 pomodoro

Your guide to being productive at work or school:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, in this post, I am going to tell you how to be productive when it comes to work or school. So, let me tell you how to have a productive day.
Make a plan. Schedule your day the night before and make a to-do list. You can use Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. Planning saves you so much time because we often think, "Should we do this or that?" and we get overwhelmed and end up feeling anxious and doing nothing.
Make a realistic plan. No, you can't work 12 hours a day; that's unrealistic. Instead, set a realistic to-do list and schedule.
Build a system. When I say build a system, I mean turn on your work mode. Set aside a different space for work or go to the library. Get a caffeinated drink or water. Turn off your phone or at least notifications and put it in another room. Arrange everything you need to study or work.
Take a break. Ideally, when you cross a task off your to-do list, then you should take a break, or if you are feeling overwhelmed, then take a break.
You don't want to work or study, but you have to, or else you will fail? Then just open your notes and keep them in front of you and challenge yourself to sit for 5 minutes in front of them. You'll probably start reading them.
Motivation is important, but not like you saw a TikTok of some productive guru blabbering things. No. Motivation and work have this beautiful connection. The more work you do, the more tasks you cross off, the more motivated you are, like "OMG, I completed one lecture, now I can even revise notes of it."
The toughest part is starting. If you start working and studying, then everything gets a little easier from there.
Productivity looks different for different people. You did your homework? Wow, that's amazing. She did her homework, did additional reading, and read the textbook for the future lecture, then that's productive too. But by no means should you feel bad about yourself.
Stop obsessing over productivity. When you obsess over this, then your brain thinks it's a real big challenge and gets scared, makes it a bigger problem, gets overwhelmed, and then you scroll over all productivity tips on Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, and Tumblr.
Hope you like this post and it helped you.

Study day (again)
A bit more than a month before my exam (I'm so early in studying for it, it's freaking me out), made a study plan, watching pomodoro videos, soundproofing headphones on, snacking on blueberries... Optimal conditions all around 👌

study like paris geller
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
start early
to get as much done as possible, you may need to start waking up earlier. this can be hard, but once you start, it will get easier and easier until it is part of your routine. wake up earlier, start earlier, get it done.
try not to see others as competition, but use them as motivation
while paris saw rory as competition at first, she finished knowing that no one could compare to her and just because rory was also very intelligent, it doesn’t mean that she wasn’t. there will always be others that are getting better grades than you or studying better than you, but try not to get caught up in that. she’s top of the class? use her to motivate yourself to do better. if you’re feeling low and comparing yourself to others, there’s probably a reason for that. find what it is within yourself, fix it, and come back better than ever.
use all resources available to you
paris wouldn’t let one opportunity to better her education or further her intelligence pass, and neither should you. use every resource and opportunity handed to you and work for the ones that aren’t.
stay determined
there will always be times where you don’t feel like studying or you’re feeling discouraged, but do not let these moments or days keep you from doing what you need to do. it’s okay to rest your brain when needed, but never quit. your future self will thank you for it.
have a plan and stick to it
take time to make a plan that will work realistically and effectively for you. once you have your plan, stick to it. again, there will always be times where you aren’t feeling like it, but don’t let these moments negatively impact your habits and goals. stick to your routine and you will get to a point where you don’t even think twice about it anymore.
go above and beyond
when it comes to studying, it isn’t always enough to just do the bare minimum. most of the time, it will benefit you far more to put some extra time and work in. research further than just a chapter of a textbook or a few slides of a powerpoint. you will never regret being more well-read.
get out of your comfort zone
paris knows that to be the best, you will have to do some things that you have never done before. you will have to talk to new people, present your research to a big group of strangers, travel if needed, learn things you never thought you would have to learn, etc. your comfort zone will be your downfall. realize that you will have to do things you aren’t enthusiastic about, and that’s okay.
