We are continuing our spooky Winx character extravaganza while October is still happening. Now that Alex and Barb have suffered through Stormy, it’s time to move onto Alex’s favorite and the second witch of the Trix trio: Darcy🌀😵‍💫💜!

I always had a soft spot for Darcy since she wore glasses (like me) in her casual clothes, and I’m excited for you all to see what Barb and Alex came up with!

“You may have noticed my recent obsession with heat transfer vinyls, and this video isn’t any different. We’re gonna press some vinyl, okay?”

“For Darcy’s makeup, I could not resist the temptation of a smoky eye. She’s my favorite of the Trix, and she has to be perfect.”

“Usually I’m not responsible for clothes, but Barb said if I want the look from the concept art, the top has to be sculpted.”

“I imagine Darcy as an elegant and intelligent but also dangerous witch, and I think some tattoos will be perfect to bring out her rebellious side.”

And here she is! I adore this version of Darcy, I think think the sculpted top and purple tattoos give her a really sexy, edgy vibe! I always felt Darcy’s powers were a bit underutilized in the show, so it’s nice to see her getting some love!

Stormy is probably the least picky eater, girl has probably eaten rocks as a child, but I think she hates eggs ngl, and probably a good chunk of vegetables but she loves broccoli

Darcy is picky af, fruit enthusiast but that's about it tbh...she probably doesn't like pizza cuz it's too oily or some shit

In the Winx comic, the Trix demonstrate the wonders of disguise. And Stella really can’t recognize them. They even wear their signature colors. Icy looks good with short hair. In general, it’s a shame that witches so rarely change clothes in the animated series

So I can't say that I was a big fan of Winx Club, in fact I thought the show was tacky and annoying back when I was a kid though when I eventually did give it a try years later, I found myself finding it to be not as bad as I was anticipating and part of the reason was because of the Trix trio, specifically the calm and collected Darcy. Oh my gosh did I absolutely love this character, she was easily my most favorite character in the show. I loved her dark boho aesthetic and I loved her voice provided by Caren Manuel with the 4kids dub, she sounded so sultry and stealthily cunning, I loved it
