Ok I don’t particularly believe in the coffee theory (if you do, whatever floats your boat this is just my opinion/theory) because Aziraphales action’s of going back to heaven made complete sense for his character. He believes in god and the system that was created wholeheartedly, he just thinks there are a few things he can tweak. Because that is part of Good Omens critique of society, there are so many people that put blind faith into things because of their ineffable nature and the idea that someone knows better than them. He wants to go back to heaven because he believes it is good and he’ll is evil and he can smooth out some wrinkles in the system; and he believes everyone else also thinks this. Crowley and many of the other angels and demons know that the system doesn’t really exist anymore, good and evil are not so carefully outlined most of it is gray (like the good place). He thinks if he runs it well enough everything will be ok, earth will survive, and Crowley will realize the divine plan. Instead he’s caught up in layers of bureaucracy never making a change because those he serves don’t actually seem to care about him and around and around it will go. And I hope he breaks free from this in the next season (because otherwise I will be very sad 🫡) because the only reason he hasn’t left is he’s never lived outside of this system and he’s scared. Anyways I love aziraphale with all my heart

!!Gonchorav Spoilers!!
The scene where Andrey shoots Gonchorav in the back and stands there watching him die, like yeah masterpiece in and of itself, but watching Andrey in the back have to decide between providing what little comfort he can in the last moments. Or, standing and fulfilling his duty showing his true loyalty to the mafia *chefs kiss. AND the final moments when he closes Gonchorav’s eyes and brushes the hair out of his face, continuing the theme of love corrupting and the humanity of the characters. Sobbing.
