Jennifer Orchard, one of the main characters of Behavioural Sciences.
Jennifer was born John Orchard to her parents Henry and Nizhoni Orchard. She’s the oldest of 5, having two younger brothers, Jack and Leo, and a two younger sisters, Maggie and Nova.
Her family is Métis on her mother’s side and Irish on her fathers.
She’s lived in Ottawa her whole life, and has never been outside of Ontario.
Jennifer is Trans(FtM) and Lesbian, she also has PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. Jennifer’s pronouns are She/Her
She is currently single, and lives with Nadia and Fae. She’s often put in charge of looking after Cù and Valkyrie when Fae is busy and Naida is out of town on a case.
She is excitedly helping Fae plan their proposal to Nadia as well as the wedding that will hopefully follow.

Fae Indigo, one of the main cast of Behavioural Sciences.
Fae was born to Elena Leone and Jackson Indigo in Vancouver British Columbia.
Their family is from Italy on their mums side and English on their fathers.
When Fae was 15, their family moved to Hamilton where they met a fourteen-year-old Nadia who had also recently moved.
Fae is Pansexual and Non-binary, they have OCD and ADHD. Fae’s pronouns are They/Them
Fae came out as Non-binary at 18. They’ve been dating Nadia for 4 years. They live with Nadia and one of her coworkers Jenny.
With the help of Jenny, Fae is hoping to propose in the next few years.

Nadia Seher, the POV and one of the main characters of the Behavioural Sciences series.
Nadia was born in Hamilton Ontario to Delia Magnus and Evan Seher.
Nadia grew up travelling between Hamilton and Olds, the town where her mother’s family lived. At the age of 10 her mum moved to Cardston and started dating Albert Hicks. 3 years later she gave birth to Nadia’s little brother Colton Hicks.
Her family is from Germany, Scotland and France.
Nadia is Omnisexual. She also has ADHD, ODD, PTSD, and autism as well as anxiety. Nadia’s pronouns are She/Her They/Them
She is extremely smart and graduated high school at 16.
Nadia has been in a romantic relationship with Fae Indigo for 4 years and they both share an apartment with Nadia’s coworker and best friend Jennifer Orchard.
She owns 2 cats, Dax and Pumpkin, as well as 2 dogs, Cù and Valkyrie.

Behavioural Sciences is a series of short novellas. They are inspired by shows like Lucifer, NCIS, Bones and Criminal Minds, however they are set in Canada because I’m Canadian.
Currently there aren’t any books out from the series but I’m working on the first book. It’s set in Southern Alberta and mentions a lot of things local to the area.
The next post will probably be characters from the team that appear in the series.
