Pete Rock and Pharoahe Monch are legends, and on this one they get together to make magic. Another listen I bumped endlessly in college and it still sounds fresh today. Wrote about it, check it out if you've got a moment.

This listen from Quelle Chris feels wayyyyyy too real, especially in adulthood, in a global panoramic, in a country full of crumbling systems, on a planet getting way too warm. Every day feels like survival, but are you really living tho? Wrote about this one, read on if you've got a moment.

This album is dope as hell. Injury Reserve has got a fun, chaotic style with plenty of memorable bars and entertaining moments. This track goes harder than it has any right to (speech generator included), and after hearing it, I feel confident in putting out a mixtape. It's JUST THAT EASY! Read on.

So it's finally come to this: A Das EFX post. I'm washed as hell. While this duo is seen as something of a joke nowadays, they had a huge influence on hip-hop in the early '90s, and much of it was due to this track, which still really sounds unique. I guess you could say, they were....Dead Serious (Why are you booing me!). Anyhow, read on.
