Choose the right winch mount

Wire up your Winch

Once you have mounted the Winch on the bumper, wire the Winch for electric supply and switch. First, mount the solenoid to an easy-to-access location under the hood of your vehicle. Now there are four-wire mounting places. Connect the yellow wire to the Winch in the positive bolt; the red one will go to the battery on the positive holder. The Black wire is for the battery as the negative line, and the blue one is for the Winch as a negative charge. You can find Plus (+) and Minus (-) sign on the solenoid, the Winch, and the battery. Connect them accordingly.
