I don’t usually dig celeb news as who cares if Beyonce is pregnant again? I don’t care what celebrities are doing or who they’re boning. That isn’t even worth putting on a news site. (This isn’t the main point, but I just have to say it anyway: There are soooo many pregnant women in the world who aren’t even famous and half or more of them are way hotter and humble and genuine and they’re not famous world wide but I’d wager that half or more of the non-celeb variety of pregnant ladies are way hotter than Beyonce *and* have more talent than her to boot, they just aren’t recognized worldwide for them because they aren’t boisterous or advertised and marketed like mere novelty object. Or sex object. Take your pick).

But this, I like. Patton Oswalt just LOOKS like someone you’d expect to have been bullied relentlessly on a daily basis growing up. I don’t know anything about him except what I’ve gleaned from this article. Point is, some guy made an asshole comment about Patton’s deceased wife. She died last year. So then, the guy got pummeled and deactivated his Twitter account.

But also on the other side of the same token, it really just irks me that to get people to actually make a move on bullies or whatever you have to be famous. That’s bullshit. I say this because I tried to get people to help stop a group of extreme cyber bullies on Facebook who go as far as posting photos of people’s kids (they find on Facebook or wherever online) with jokes about child rape. No one does anything whatsoever. Facebook either can’t or won’t do anything about them. They have thousands of FAKE accounts which they somehow produce fake identification or something so that that when they’re reported their accounts remain up. They have multiple hate groups. They have singles meet and greet groups for catfishing and posting their jokes about child rape. They think it’s funny. They go into other legitimate groups to bully people, including cancer patients. They harass people who are depressed and suicidal.

What I am getting at is that what they do is *by far* much worse than what this guy did and then Oswalt and Twitter pounced on him. He deactivated his account. But what do people do when they are made aware of a group of very prolific cyber bullies and catfishers who make the guy mentioned in the article seem like a Which is great. But it really irks me that you pretty much have to be a celebrity of some kind to inspire people to shut people like that up. Shut them down.

What that guy said is so not cool. And is very inappropriate and just because people can hide behind a computer screen and “no one knows they’re a dog” online doesn’t suddenly make it okay to just attack someone like that because of disagreements. It doesn’t make it okay to bully people for any reason just because you’re online and no one knows who you really are and so you won’t have to face any real consequences for your actions.

What cyber bullies do they do out of narcissism and also cowardice. They get extreme online because they can hide and they think it won’t affect them somehow. Note to self: when you’re reincarnated, be sure you pick at least one parent who is just one of a long line of super famous actors or something. It does not matter *why* s/he is rich, famous, or highly influential, so long as s/he isn’t a Ted Bundy or some shit, so then just by association you will have some level of influence that might just make something happen. Lulz…
