Dr Popper putting people to sleep 😴 This month I'm doing an internship in anesthesia 💉 Anesthesia is the practice of medically inducing a "coma" in order for surgeons to operate on the patient 😷 The anesthesiologist is responsible for evaluating and stabilizing the patient before, during and after surgery using different kinds of medication 👨‍⚕️ So it's really important to know your medications and dosages 💊 *Fun fact: the medication I'm preparing in this syringe is called "propofol" (brand name Diprivan) which is used to induce anesthesia. MJ passed away because of an overdose of this drug.
