Bumbleby Big Bang 2023!

i’m so thrilled to present my piece for the 2023 bumbleby big bang!! so much has happened in the last two years, but i’m happy to be back! this fic was inspired by a game called Our Life: Beginnings & Always by @gbpatchupdates. please check it out if you haven’t had the chance! it’s totally free to play.

It Lives Within Release Schedule

Hello everyone, and happy April!!

As most of you are aware, we are going to begin airing It Lives Within this month, starting April 30th! Below is our planned release schedule. However, we do reserve the right to pause the airing at any point if we require more time to work on and polish the story.

April 30: Chapter 3 May 7: Chapter 4 May 13: Chapter 5 May 20: Chapter 6

TWO WEEK BREAK

June 3: Chapter 7 June 10: Chapter 8 June 17: Chapter 9 June 24: Chapter 10 July 1: Chapter 11

HIATUS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

The game will be 23 chapters in total, meaning that there will be 12 chapters left to air after the hiatus. We hope that the hiatus will only be a couple of months, during which time we finish off everything that needs to be done (writing, editing, and programming).

Hi Everyone!!!

We’re a little late to this, but it’s officially been one whole year since we started this project. It’s been absolutely wild and utterly unforgettable.

In that year we have made incredible progress on this book. We have over half the story written, putting us at about 270k words. For reference, that’s a little longer than Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

We even have a demo which we released on Halloween last year.

We have created some truly amazing love interests who we all adore: Abel Flint, Amalia de León, and Lincoln McQuoid. We’ve also brought about the return of a fan favorite: Jocelyn Wu. Everyone is hard at work making sure you all fall insanely in love with Abel, Amalia, Lincoln, and Jocelyn 😌

To reassure all you it lives fans one more time, we’ve also brought back all the love interests from the previous two books. Their routes have been woven into the game, so never fear: you will see your beloved faves again ☺️

We’ve also got an incredible amount of new art including CGs, outfits, and-of course-our incomparably beautiful MCs. All we’re done by our unbelievable totally fantastic perfect in all ways art team.

We even have a truly phenomenal soundtrack created by our resident musical genius and founder, Mod Lindsay.

We’re all incredibly grateful for your love and support, and our working tirelessly to bring you the ending we all deserve!

Thank you all so much for sticking with us through this past year. I promise, you won’t be disappointed ;)

We will begin release April 30th, so keep an eye out!!

Bumbleby Big Bang 2021!

today’s the day! i’m so excited to present my piece for the 2021 @bumblebybigbang! it’s been a tough journey, but i’m glad i was able to push through and share this fic with you all. i was inspired by watching the Rent-A-Girlfriend anime series and that’s how my idea was born. this ended up being the longest fic i’ve ever posted, so i hope you enjoy “i can’t deny it, i’m in love”. you can find the link to the fic below.

How to play:

Our recommendation is that you download the game file on your computer. This is the best way to play. You can easily play in your mobile browser, but saving your progress may be more difficult, and the music may glitch because it’s not fully compatible with iOS systems.

You can in fact save your current demo progress and pick it up the next time we release a demo!

Spooktober Announcements & GIVEAWAY

As the end of September draws near, we're entering one of the favorite times of the year for It Lives stans:

And boy do we have some plans for you...

Sadly, It Lives Within won't be finished in time for Halloween this year, as much as we wanted to release it around this time. However, that doesn't mean we don't have little treats up our sleeves 🤫Keep your eyes peeled October 1st for another exciting reveal we've prepared just for you...

And don't think we'll forget about Halloween, either. I promise, you're gonna like what we have to share on October 31 😈

IT LIVES PROJECT GIVEAWAY

Now, to celebrate Halloween and the It Lives series in general, and to show our appreciation for our followers' support and patience, the It Lives Project team is doing something special! We're doing a giveaway for a customized, fully programmed It Lives scene of your choice! How it works:

1) After we select the winners, the winners will be able to create or request an original fan-made It Lives scene which we will then program as a visual novel! The final product will look like the teaser trailer we released a few months ago. You may choose one It Lives MC and up to two additional characters to be featured in the scene. It can be an LI, two LIs, Elliot and an LI, whoever you want (it doesn't have to be romantic). We're open to writing pretty much anything from fluff to smut, but just send us your prompt and if it's something none of us feel comfortable with we'll let you know. From there, you explain to us what you want the scene to be.

Example: You could say "I want a hurt/comfort scene featuring ILITW MC and Andy Kang" or you could go more specific, like "I want a workout scene with Amalia and ILW MC where Amalia teaches MC the basics of jiu jitsu." Or, you could send us a fanfic you've already written and would like to see adapted to as a visual novel, and we'll do that too.

2) From there, we'll write or adapt the script, and then using our visual novel engine, we'll program the scene for you, just like how we're doing it with ILW! The programming will allow you to choose your MC's looks and will include branching choices.

3) Once the game is finished, we'll upload it to itch.io, send you a private link, and you'll be free to enjoy a fully programmed, 100% playable diamond-esque It Lives scene of your choosing!

4) Just keep in mind, please limit the characters to 1-2 beyond the MC, and there is a word count limit of 5,000 (not including coding commands).

1) Reblog this post and in a comment, share something positive about It Lives. Why you love it, what it means to you, who your favorite characters are, etc.

2) We'll go through and pick TWO winners at random, which we will then announce on our blog on October 15.

3) You CAN reblog this multiple times for multiple considerations! Max of two reblogs per user may be counted a day.

4) Reblogs end on midnight PST on October 15.

5) If you're chosen, we'll PM you with the details and wait for your further instructions on what to do. Then we'll get to work on writing and programming your fully customized It Lives scene!

this is my addition to the @bumblebybigbang !

it sure has been a while since i've posted something huh? unfortunately this fic didn't turn out as high quality as i would've liked, but i wouldn't take any of this back. i'll probably go back and edit this at some point, so be on the look out for that! it was a huge challenge to finish an entire fic to completion, and i'm proud of what i accomplished despite the numerous obstacles i stumbled over. i had an absolute blast working on a fic like this, especially with my own background in music and getting to use that in something i've written.
