yes, maybe in the remake we get an idea, more child abuse, and seeing how he mad her an insane psycho or could go the other route, and pretend he was a good father, and she was born evil.

Yes, but I don't think the fat needs to be trimmed, more like developed, all those characters are just caricatures, none serve an actual goal or have tangible emotions.

Take Charlie for instance, we are presented this lovable supposedly princess of hell who wants to redeem hell but never asks important questions.

How to redeem sinners? What are the means to get into heaven? She doesn't think at all.

Same with Adam, he likes killing demons, ok, and he is bad? why? And what happens to him, why should we care?

Also Panty and Stocking doesn't have some big conoluted story, it is supposed to be comedy fun, and the characters are just fun. they have comedic timing, cool fight scenes, and just fun animation. Hazbin hotel has this cast of characters, none who are fun, or have cool antics, barely any fight scenes, and most of the time is taken with drawn out musical numbers. They try to tell us they have character arcs but we can't see it

Yeah and I mean, Hazbin was originally an indie production and not a IP that had corporate money behind it but then it also had what like two years of development time, plus there are some genuinely funny moments in the series itself but there's definitely signs of the first draft and they would have been better if they had simply trimmed the fat when it came to the plot and characters, especially with a show that might not get a second season. It needs an editor for the general broad outline and probably the suits gave Vivzie primary control of the show and went to town.

i have such a love for characters who descend into madness or villainy out of deep, deep empathy. characters who fundamentally cannot cope with the cruel realities they find themselves in and blow up about it in spectacular fashion. fallen angel type characters with tears of outrage in their eyes. characters who break before they bend, and break so badly they splatter blood all over their noble ideals. every variation on it gets me so good

So, I made the mistake of watching the tv series From, for the first time and got absolutely hooked. Told myself I would only watch the first season but then ended up binge watching the entire thing. Anyway, got some inspiration from season 1( the best one in my humble opinion), and a little bit of season 2 and thought I'd make a story out of it.

What do you guys think of this pairing?

I know what you thinking, this could end only one way, but bear with me.

What originally was a Kevin/Jasmine pairing, turned swiftly into a Randall/Jasmine story instead. Since Kevin was just such a wimp and Randall is so much better.

Also I planning to keep things simpler than what the 2nd and 3rd season introduced. Things just became way complicated from the 2nd season onwards.

And finally, My favorite character will still be alive!
