heavy lids, your fingers have power. sweet scent of your skin, a whiff of it and I'm falling in the arms of slumber. dizzy, i feel the ropes pricking my flesh, your dreams pinning me down, tight knots, your fingers have that power, lulling me to delusion that you're real, pulling my hair back, in a daze i hear you, you want love, you want me at your feet. sleep and wake seem not too unlike, i feel your grasp even in your absence. how long will you pretend to be human, how long will I pretend you're convincing. you are but made of dreams. no mortal can have such beauty and such desperation to be loved back
