Something that's really confusing me about my Tapas stats for a new dawn is that there is a chapter right smack in the middle with zero views. The ones after it have multiple views, so it's not like everyone decided to give up on the story. They decided to just skip that chapter. Which contains important information that is relevant to the rest of the story. You know. Like chapters of stories tend to do.

I swear people saw the M rating (which I stuck there bc of the fuck word and a character being hungover) and went "oh, I don't want to read M rated story. I will skip the chapter" and I'm kind of wondering how they feel about the story considering that they have incomplete information and are missing a rather important scene that explains what the hell's going on in the next chapter

-Cosmic Love. The Dragon Prince fanfic by @alls-fair-in-pride-and-prejudice featuring one of the few characters I'm as obsessed with as I am with my own characters. Lyra is a library assistant at Katolis Castle, and an astronomer by night. Beginning about four years before the show starts, the first chapter follows Lyra as she develops star magic and experiences her first vision, and ends with the appearance (?? is that what it's called when it's auditory only) of Aaravos. You can read it on AO3! Ft. bisexual autistic protagonist

-Forlorn by @a-forlorn-crow. One of the few original stories I've been able to keep up with lately that isn't a webtoon or an audiobook. It follows three characters: Crow, an Undead shadow mage with a mysterious past who somehow retained the use of his own mind, although not his memories; Pilgrim, a centuries-old monster and a ruthless killer; and Lirius, a perfectionist with something wrong beneath the surface (he reminds me of Princess Azula). It's on AO3 and Royal Road! Ft. at least one bisexual protagonist and probably more

-Royal for Ransom by Feathermage. I'm feral for this story, have reread it too many times considering it came out two months ago. A warlock and a dragon set out to kidnap the princess so they can ransom her back in exchange for...? (Safety, I think.) A slight wrench in the plan: They grabbed the crown prince instead, who is a much more difficult captive than his sister would have been. He is also very bi and kinda into the being tied up thing. It's on Webtoon! Ft. three polyamorous bisexuals

-The Pirate and the Princess, by Sapphire_and_Ice. Currently the only webtoon I'm watching ads for. Princess Kirianna is kidnapped from her engagement ball by a group of pirates whose Captain is seeking revenge on Kiri's father for his complicity in the Captain's abuse as a child. But the pirates are... really nice? (Deals with sensitive topics like sexual abuse and grooming; creator has a full warnings list within the story.) Found on Webtoon and Tapas! Ft. bi4bi sapphics, one of whom is GNC and disguises as a man
