doctor who | hell bent (december 5, 2015)
“Nobody’s ever safe. I’ve never asked you for that, ever. These have been the best years of my life, and they are mine.
Tomorrow is promised to no one, Doctor, but I insist upon my past. I am entitled to that.
It’s mine.”

Three years ago today, Clara Oswald’s time on Doctor Who came to a close. Suspended between one heartbeat and the last, her hands on the TARDIS controls and an immortal woman at her side, we watched her fly off into the infinity of the cosmos. It was a beautiful ending, but an even better beginning. The next chapter of Clara Oswald’s story is one of fantasies, of challenges, of love, loss and myth. This Spring, follow Clara as she forges her own path in the universe…
We are very proud to present the official trailer for Clara Oswald: The Untold Adventures.

Kudos, to all the people involved in the project, especially @the-lazy-cat-bakes-souffles and @abossycontrolfreak for turning this dream into a reality!

On the Thirteenth Doctor’s Theme
“I could build one! I’m good at building things. Probably.”
And then we get the spellbinding scene with the Doctor - not yet the Doctor, not yet sure of who she is, full of subliminal echoes of earlier selves, older stories and sentiments, all propelling her to a place she can trace the outline of but can’t gather into a big, familiar piece - making a sonic screwdriver for herself out of stainless steel spoons in a workshop in Sheffield.

Artists Wanted

The Untold Adventures is looking for artists! If you are an artist and love Clara Oswald, we’d be delighted to have you on-board for this project to help bring Clara’s travels to life.
We want to feature two types of art in the project: concept art and episode art.
The concept art will be sketches of settings, outfits and items featured in the series - this would particularly suit artists who are confident with environments, clothing and/or objects.
The episode art will include a poster for each story, as well as a few illustrations of select scenes - which scenes in particular will be up to you and the episode writer.
If you are interested, please email us at [email protected] and include a link to your work, a few sentences about what you prefer drawing and your strengths as an artist, and which role(s) you are interested in.
We’ll let all applicants know via email whether they were successful, and then discuss together which concept or episode art will work best for you. If you have any questions about the process or the project, feel free to contact us by Tumblr, Twitter or email.
Please note that in the interest of preventing spoilers we ask that involved artists maintain discretion regarding any story/plot details they are privy to.

The Untold Adventures’ Website Launch and Poster Unveiling
After Christmas marked the return of Clara Oswald to our screens and the arrival of a female Doctor, both portentous events in the context of ‘The Untold Adventures’, we’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy new year and for plenty of good things to come, and provide a brief update as to the current state of affairs with the project.
At the moment we’re deep in the process of outlining and writing the stories. The creative team has been assembled, the overall arc of the series is clear, and we have a solid plan in place for the coming months. What remains is getting the episodes themselves completed and refined. While we’re hard at work, we’re eager to stay in touch with you all, first through the newly-launched website, which you can find here: www.theuntoldadventures.com. Regular updates will be posted there and on our social media pages; we have plenty of exciting things in store, so stay tuned.
As a special teaser for what lies ahead, we’re also delighted to be unveiling a stunning new poster for the series, created by the talented @joscribbles:

All of us are so excited about this project, and grateful at the opportunity we have to continue the journey of a character that means so much to us and to many in the fan community. We hope we can do her justice and provide you with a worthy follow-up.
See you soon,
The Untold Adventures team

The Doctor turns into a woman and immediately blows herself out of the TARDIS. How progressive.
I would like to point you in the general direction of this brilliant post by @scriptscribbles http://scriptscribbles.tumblr.com/post/168955607341/were-probably-crashing
Hope you progressively understand what I mean anon. Have a nice day.
