Last song listened to: Full Gauntlet -30%- by Yuki Hayashi (BNHA soundtrack). I'm on my instrumental playlist so I guess now I have to admit to being a nerd (shock horror) since it's pretty much entirely movie and video game soundtracks.

Currently Reading: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne (very slowly because I am bored), Walking on Water by Madeline L'Engle, and The Grave's a Fine and Private Place by Alan Bradley (a Flavia de Luce mystery). Soon to be reading Dracula with my good friend Jonathon Harker :)

Currently Obsessed With: sadly, not much. I don't have a lot of extra brainspace for it right now smh. But I am working obsessively on figuring out and building author platform stuff, so I guess that counts. It's. going slowly. But hey, it's going! (also maybe soon Dracula with my good friend Jonathan Harker if I have the energy)

oh......we have...2021 art this pains me to such a degree...i guess I was drawing Ghost and then was working on Jana and Veltar's designs... I added the other wips nearby because I think they were the same era (and idk if i showed these to you so heres your blorbos from 3 year ago

Jana and Veltar are also from Ascended but they are their own dramatic smaller offshoot story but there will be a lil crossover when Sly and co probably run into their dimension

COMPLETELY UNFINISHED ASCENDED LORE on the mechanics of how dimensions work i ACTUALLY have to finish this and make this--a bit more accurate but the GIST is the same about how dimensions in ascended are in really thin layers like pancakes and essentially floating continents, actually tied to Earth

oh goodness this was a while ago I completely forgot about it, I was working doodles of Sly's culture with his parents Dodger and Jade. When a couple has their first baby they usually host a celebration party either lavish or simple depending on their budget, and the parents are given new clothes by the grandparents. (the whole dimension is very cloth based in culture and environment aesthetic) In old culture it was common for women to braid their hair up and the more kids you had the longer the braid would be. They'd weave a ribbon into their hair it was a sign of honor. Now it's not a requirement but still common, and sometimes a ribbon is used as a replacement for the braid. The mother gets her first ribbon woven into her hair either by braid or another means like a headdress etc. The more kids they have the longer the ribbon.
