First of all i've read your mass effect fan fics on archive of our own and i want to say that they were fantastic! Second i had started a story of my own when i read your Resonant Frequency story and found out that the story idea i had was the similar. So my question for you is it ok with you if i post my story on fanfiction net as long as i give you some kind of kudos? i only just started writing so i'm not 100% sure on copy wright. any answer i can get would be appreciated. hey, i’m opening up emergency commissions!

here’s what’s going on:

my parent’s food stamps got cut really bad? the place keeps telling my mom that she didn’t turn in the correct information at the beginning of the year. she tried to fix it and turn in every thing, but they keep refusing her. it could be months before we get a decent number of stamps again. (we are getting 60-100 which is only about $120-$200 worth of food. there are eleven of us in the house) it is only like 19th as i type this, and we are pretty much already living off left overs and that’s that we try to find deals and buy reduced food.

if you could commission me, that’d be great! i’d be able to help my parents buy food for us while i am still applying for jobs.

about the commissions:

they are $30, unless you wanna give me more (lol). full color, up to two characters. there’s not a lot of things i won’t draw, so just shoot me a dm if you’re interested! i will only be taking so many at a time, though. spots are limited, so i don’t get overwhelmed, but i will reopen them as i finish the batch i’m on, etc.

Young Arataka Reigen is a promising competitive figure skater, but he has one flaw : his skating style is not Beautiful. Reigen debuts in a time where judges critique routines mostly on technique, and how elegant it is. He does not take this criticism well, often getting into tiffs with coaches about what should be ‘the focus’ of his performances. Cue Misty’s idea of him pushing too hard, trying too much, which results in an accident which breaks his leg and his career early.

Fast forward: Reigen coaches an up-and-coming figure skater Shigeo Kageyama. Times have changed, and judges are more receptive to emotionally driven skating in a modern audience. Plot twist : Reigen’s still teaching Mob how to deal with his emotions in this au, this time via finding Mob’s own style of skating. Reigen’s crazy-out-there-what-the-fuck-are-you-doing skate style helps Mob open up and experiment with his own.

What happened to the Fae Burrcules story? :O

Hmmm, im not sure lets see what could have happened, lets list it off;

1.) i could have run into a block and am not sure how to continue so i put it on the backburner for now

2.) i could have lost inspiration for it and at the moment don’t want to continue it which is entirely up to me bc i do this for free, remember

3.) I could have forgotten abt it and started writign something else which is also entirely up to me bc remember, i do this for free

4.) I do have a life outside of writing too, i have school which demands most of my attention, and yeah, i have the attention span of a rabbit and move onto new ideas really fast, but ^^^THIS^^^ IS NOT THE WAY TO REMIND ME OF THOSE IDEAS!!! 

I write for myself, alright!? I write for fun, and for free and i SHARE IT WITH YOU GUYS!!! If you want to write something bc im not writign it fast enough or at all, feel free! If it seems like im salty, it’s bc i am! this is not the way to remind a writer of an idea of theirs that you liked! You could absolutely word it in a different way, here I’ll show you

“hey, i saw your fae!burrcules idea and it seems so super cool!” or “Here are some thoughts i had on it, some headcanons…etc” 

I am not a full time writer, i am a student with a part time job who enjoys writing and wants to write for fun! I frickin’ love the fae!burrcules story but ive hit a roadblock, so no i will not be posting it anytime soon, and honestly, with each of these kinds of questions i get, it sets me back from writing bc i have to explain to you how to respectfully and nicely approach a fanfic author. Please dont send asks like this.

whenever I stumble across a self insert fic in a fandom that doesn’t usually post them I can’t help going to the comments section to make sure people aren’t being dicks

honestly though, on ao3 especially most people are actually nice about this (ie the only people leaving comments are people who were genuinely interested in reading a self insert in the first place, not people who see one, choke on their own sense of superiority, then look for things to tear apart). I feel like this is part of a internet-social evolution here because i swear 7 years ago it would have been very different

plant dump, basically all my favourites. I was going to dump all my plants here, but then when I was taking pictures I realized i had more than 40 

I have a second prayer plant with a cooler leaf colouring, but it suffered a lot more so it doesn’t look as nice. Maybe by the time spring comes along it will look nice enough to post. there’s also 2 pictures of my marble queen pothos because it’s too great
