Hello All! What a morning so far. First, I would like to begin the day with a huge thank you to the universe and the Goddess up there taking care of me. I know it's a lot of work. I'm a handful. But you are doing a fantastic job keeping me here lol. Before I dive into this piece, I want to start with giving you guys a sneak peek on what I do for a living. I am a homecare LPN, but my patient that I am with today goes to school. So, most of my care with him is at his school, which is a small facility for special needs children. Hidden up in the hills, deep in the New York forest, where you can catch deers, bears, foxes, I mean it's pretty much Bambi's home over here. I do appreciate nature, and I don't want to sound like I'm complaining here, even though I am a little bit, lol. I mean I'm going off on a tangent here. Check out my morning guys; I leave at 6 am, pay two tolls, drive 55 miles to park my car at my patient's home and take a school bus to his school grounds. Oh, it does get better lol. We go back on the bus at 230pm and drive around for an hour, you know like a joy ride. Praying I don't throw up the entire car ride because at this point I am getting car sick. Do you ever get car sick? I mean it has to be the yuckiest 20 minutes of one's existence. Lol, could I be any more dramatic! We understand the picture here. I'm in the cafeteria and ask the same lunch lady I see every day if I can please get a cup of coffee and a plain roll to hold me through the day because I forgot my wallet. She tells me no, she can't do that because I guess someone messed it up for the rest of us. No matter what I said, she said "no." Now, this is where I get annoyed. You see me every day, I work here. I'm not going anywhere. But places that sell hot food throw out so much, and you can't have the heart to tell me no when you are continually throwing out food? Americans forgot what it is to go without food if we can deny our colleague a cup of joe to get them through the day. There are countries that half of its population eat grass because of the lack of supply. But in this country, it's like the norm to deny a person a plate of food. All I wanted was a cup of coffee and a roll to sustain me so I can take proper care for my patient. Unfortunately, we aren't in the city where I can walk out of the building, and I can use my phone to pay for a meal, nor am I allowed to leave my patient alone. Has our society changed that much that we have lost empathy for our peers? Where has humanity gone?

I am having a hard time believing that Jussie Smollet is lying. I have a theory in mind. Just hear me out, maybe the people who hurt him was probably paid to do it by someone else. Probably it is coming from another celeb. If I were in trouble and knew the public theorized that is was all a hoax, I too would hold on to that theory, hire some lawyers, and see my way out of trouble. Doesn't it sound like a fantastic way to get out of jail free It's so hard for me to deny belief from a victim of such a hideous crime. Papa Lagerfield Karl Lagerfeld inspired so many trends throughout his career. My favorite and the most prominent collaboration was when he became director of Coco Chanel and re-branded the iconic double C logo. I remember that double c logo becoming the essence of high fashion couture near the turn of the 21st century. I’m an elder millennial as Liza Schlesinger would say. Being a kid in the 80s and 90s for me were all about daydreaming of the day you’d grow up to be a powerhouse wonder woman doing astounding things, taking everyone’s breath away, because that shiny black classic Chanel flap bag, with the double C turn lock, gave you that exact boost of confidence you needed for the day. That’s the feeling Karl transpired when he joined Chanel and reminded the world what a special fashion piece could do for your self-esteem. Although, Being one of my favorite designers of my generation, for his brilliant work, he was also known to spark controversies and feminine uproars with his many offensive public comments about some women in our pop culture. Like when he addressed Adele’s weight, or Pipers looks, to name a few. But, People still respected him, they slapped him on the wrist for those comments and continued with their day.  Why do you think he got away with making such cruel remarks? Because if we did hammer him with protests and boycotts, it would be like condemning grandma for saying something outdated. Yeaup! you heard me I’m calling this ageism. I mean we all know we shouldn’t body shame, but who’s going to hold nana’s head to the fire when she judges your best friend for being 40 and still unmarried. Most would call Lagerfield the pope of fashion; for all his year’s of fashion accuracy, being a trailblazer for couture and the latest trends, plus, let’s not dismiss what it also takes to be the pope; YEARS of experience hence the age haha, I believe he has all the fashion right to critique in whatever way he pleases. Sidebar, I entirely, do not agree with any of his snarky remarks, and I am still brainstorming on how I feel about ageism in 2019. Nonetheless, he will forever be Fashions Pope. It was a pleasure having you Papa Lagerfield. Thank you.
