Over the last year of 2023, Florida’s two most expensive home sold on Palm Beach Island.  $170,000,000 was in first place at 589 North County Road Palm Beach, FL 33480 and $155,000,000 in second place at 1495 North Ocean Boulevard Palm Beach 33480 combined into a compound with 108 Mediterranean Road Palm Beach, FL 33480.
As the balance in middle market property prices and interest rates struggle to find common ground across the general U.S., solid activity in the Florida market and in the UHNW market of Palm Beach is understandable for emotional reasons but also backed by qualitative data. 
Buyers of properties in excess of several million dollars aren’t as affected by volatility in interest rates or the stock market like other buyers. Taboo Palm Beach - Moving Forward Though History

Ta-boó restaurant, located on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach Island, Florida, has been a popular and iconic establishment for over 80 years. Recently, the building it operates in has been taken over by new owners, and negotiations are currently underway for a new lease. While there is a risk that the negotiations may not be successful, there is hope that a mutually beneficial agreement will be reached to allow Ta-boó to continue operating in its historic location.
Both Ta-boó and the building's new owners have made offers to renovate the space and extend a long-term lease. Ta-boó is a consistently busy restaurant, and its owner Franklyn de Marko understands the numbers needed to maintain its legendary quality and attraction to both visitors and loyal locals.
Local figures, including Worth Avenue Association President Greg Beletsky, have been actively working to gather support for Ta-boó. The mayor and town council members also recognize the significance of Ta-boó as a part of the history of the area. Worth Avenue is considered to be the Rodeo Drive of Palm Beach County, and the Spanish and blended Mediterranean architecture from Addison Mizner in the 1920s is evident on the avenue and the many pleasant little "Vias" that spring off it.
Ta-boó has a fascinating history, with past ownership dating back to 1941 when Ted Stone opened the restaurant. Its client roster includes John F. Kennedy, Jackie Onassis, Frank Sinatra, and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, among countless other current celebrities. The potential loss of Ta-boó would be a significant loss to the community and the restaurant's rich history.
As a local real estate firm not a party to the deal, Greenfield Waters Florida Realty is hopeful that a mutually beneficial agreement can be reached for between the restaurant and the landlord. A welcome addition to our local public schools will soon be West Boynton Beach Middle School.  Located on near the corner of Boynton Beach Boulevard and Acme Dairy Road, the new campus will host around 1,300 students.  
Excitement is high as West Boynton Beach Middle School will have updated state of the art technology and safety for the students.  As the areas of West Boynton Beach and West Lake Worth have become so popular with all age communities and families, some schools have been a bit crowded.  This new school will absorb some footprint from Christa McAuliffe Middle School and Woodlands Middle School and the exact boundaries will be decided.
Locals have mostly enthusiasm for West Boynton Beach Middle School.  Students could come from nearby communities such as Canyon Lakes, Canyon Isles, Canyon Springs, Canyon Trails, Greystone, Cobblestone and Verona Lakes.

These Are the Best Schools in Palm Beach County! 
Top rated schools are a common search criteria when buying a home in Palm Beach County.  The Florida Department of Education rates each of our schools annually with a grade system from “A” being the best to “F” being the lower scoring.
At Greenfield Waters Florida Realty we find that several areas have a concentration of “A” rated schools.  This quick guide will highlight areas and schools that consistently have years of “A” rating and reliable streaks of quality in their history.
Schools zones in Florida can be very different.  They often fit together like puzzle pieces and unlike other states the zones are not just related to the specific town where the school is located as they may border other towns that attend as well.  There are often Magnet Programs and Charter Schools as well that are very valuable.
