Dino Park at Jatim Park 3

I had a wonderful time at Dino Park, the first and largest dinosaur-themed theme park in Indonesia, on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Dino Park is located inside Jatim Park 3 at Jl. Ir Soekarno No.144, Batu, 65236. It offers a unique experience to explore the dinosaur era and learn about life in it. Dino Park has a museum that provides educational and interactive exhibits about dinosaurs and a root bridge that challenges visitors to cross a forest canopy.

Dino Park is a great place for family tourism, as it caters to people of all ages and interests. The park has various facilities and attractions to entertain visitors. I enjoyed every theme presented in the park, from the realistic animatronic dinosaurs to the fossil digging area. The park was crowded because it was during the school holidays, but I did not mind the noise and excitement. The only downside was that it was very hot when I entered the park at 11 a.m., and there were not many shady trees. The entrance ticket price per person was around IDR 100 thousand, which I think was reasonable for the quality of the park.

Take pride in your achievements, no matter how small they may seem. Studying from home can be challenging, so reward yourself for each success.

Taking notes while watching the lessons will help you remember the material better and will be useful for reviewing later. Try to focus on one lesson at a time and avoid multitasking, as it can be distracting.

It is also important to take breaks to reduce the strain. After finishing one lesson, take a short break before moving on to the next. Keep your routine and treat your day as if you are going to school. Wake up, take a shower, and have breakfast to start your day off right.

An effective study break should be taken every 45-50 minutes, involve physical activity, avoid screens, and include staying hydrated. Keep in mind that taking breaks is not a waste of time and can actually improve your learning and well-being.

To create a conducive learning environment, find a quiet and comfortable place to study. Eliminate distractions, ensure good lighting, use comfortable furniture, and keep your study area clean and organized. Consider joining a study group or finding a study buddy who can help you and vice versa. This way, you can support each other in your academic pursuits and achieve better results.

Review of The Movie “Elemental”

A Disney and Pixar animated film is set in Element City, where people of fire, water, land, and air coexist. The story revolves around Ember, a fiery woman from Firetown, and Wade, a sentimental man from Watertown, who develop an unlikely friendship and challenge each other's beliefs about their world. The movie was released in June 2023 and was well-received by both critics and audiences.

Peter Sohn, a Korean-American animator, director, voice actor, and storyboard artist, is the director and one of the writers of the movie Elemental. He has previously worked on various Pixar films like The Incredibles (2004), Ratatouille (2007), Up (2009), and The Good Dinosaur (2015). The idea of Elemental was inspired by his life experiences as a child of immigrants in New York City. Sohn aimed to portray the variety and charm of different cultures and elements through this movie.

If you are interested in the concept of different elements living together and falling in love, then I would recommend watching the movie. However, the movie could have been better in terms of plot, character development, and themes. This is just my perspective based on the information available.

Indonesian Comics in the Digital Era.

Hello, friends! Have you ever heard of comics? If you have, have you read any by Indonesian comic artists? Speaking of comics, do you know what they are, especially in this technological era? Let's find out more about them right away!

Comics are stories told through a combination of still images and text, typically printed on paper. But in this era, technology has not only changed how we see the world and do many things. However, it cannot be denied that sometimes technological developments change a condition and eliminate its existence. For example, the emergence of streaming music caused a decline in music CD or cassette sales.

Technology has transformed the way people read books and comics. Nowadays, comics are available in both print and digital formats. With a smartphone and a reliable internet connection, you can easily download a digital comic app and enjoy stories from your preferred genre.

The digital era of Indonesian comics began in the period after 2000 or the period after reform. Due to easier access to the internet, many Indonesian comic artists today are more focused on creating and disseminating their works digitally. Many of the comic artists in this period worked independently, did not depend on major publishers, and tended to produce and distribute their works within a limited community.

Kim Jun Koo, one of the founders of Line Webtoon, a digital comic platform, said that digital comics are meant to support printed comics. Digital comics have grown quickly in South Korea.

The Indonesian comic industry is experiencing a revival thanks to digital platforms like Line Webtoon, Ciayo Comics, and Kakaopage.

During this era, there were several famous Indonesian comic artists whose works gained recognition. These included Faza Meonk's "Si Juki," Nurfadli Mursyid's "Tahilalats," Archie The RedCat's "Eggnoid," Shinshinhye's "Flawless," and Annisa Nisfihani's "My Pre-Wedding." Nowadays, Indonesian comics are mainly focused on digital platforms, which allows for their popularity to spread internationally.

The number of individuals reading digital comics is consistently increasing. As per the data released by Line Webtoon in April 2015, Indonesia has the highest number of digital comic readers with 6 million active users.
