try not to take these things personally, is really my only advice to you. a lot of readers are super sweet with kudos, comments, whatever, but a lot just click through and move on with their day.

frustrating, maybe, but it's just how people are. don't focus on them, focus on those who love your work enough to interact with it. before i ever properly became a part of fandom i read whatever i could get my hands of and never gave it a second thought interacting-wise. i wish i hadn't, but i assume that's how a lot of people are.

it's not that what you're giving out is bad, and it's not that your works aren't any good, just try your hardest not to put your self worth (as a writer) into the hands of strangers. people are picky, some will love what you write with downright obsession, and others prefer something else. a lot will love your work and still not interact with it outside of hits. it sucks, but you can't change it.

like i said, focus on those who leave comments/kudos. write for yourself, write for them. and they'll love it, they'll interact. put yourself into your work if it makes you happy, and don't let it become a chore. your soul bleeds into your words.
