Life is Strange has been a big part of my life and it’s been fundamental in shaping my queer journey. For real though, I’ve gotten almost all of my friends to play it (experimented the order too LOL)

First time I discovered it was when I was trying to search for similar games to the Telltale games (I was in my BatCat era), and then Life is Strange came up. I ended up buying the games like 4x on different platforms lmao

Story Time (the issue w fan pages)

I saw this & thought of this idea and asked @propersip if she could draw it, and I'm SO happy and touched she spent hours and hours to get it done. Got to see the behind the scenes of it at work as well, was special.

And then this Instagram lis fan page @life_is_strange_out_there reposted her work initially without credit, they could've inserted a tumblr handle but nope; only added credits after Tave's request. And they responded to the VAs' comments like as if the art is their own. "Thank you for this" is clearly meant for the artist herself!

And with excitement I wanted to check those stories out but Lo and Behold, all of them are unavailable to view on both my ig accounts, when others can. It sucks not being able to view a precious art because the account that doesn't even own it got recognised and also blocks you. Idk why I was blocked in the first place. It's been some time since I last interacted with them. Idk what I did that was so hated? Perhaps asking for due credits and being a polite Rachel Stan?? I've never hated on Pricefield cuz I don't hate that ship at all. Just wanted to put this out there.

So if you happen to see this, the person behind @life_is_strange_out_there, we can talk about this if you want to. If not, it's always good to give credits when you post something, like a Tumblr link/handle.

this is my first time ever writing amberprice, but certainly not my last… 👀 anyways have a happy au where everything is fine and the girls are living together in la just like they planned.

“Marry me?”

“Rachel Dawn Amber, I swear to god if you’re actually proposing to me with a Ring Pop right now, I am going to kick you out of this house.”

The blonde cackled, collapsing against the pillows, careful to hold the candy out in front of her. “Come on, babe.” She mused, grinning smugly. “You don’t think this is, like, the most romantic marriage proposal ever?”

“I think,” Chloe started, leaning over so their noses brushed, her lips ghosting over her girlfriend’s, “We’re in no place to get married right now. And even if we were, I expect a hell of a good gem decorating my finger to flaunt.”

Rachel snorted. “Please, as if when I actually do ask, you won’t walk around the entire city randomly telling people that you’re going to marry the Rachel Amber.”

And there it was, the inevitable, the “when I actually do ask”, the idea of a forever. It’s not a scary thought, far from it, actually, but Chloe was brought back to a rock concert and a train and a first kiss under the lamppost with a promise to run away together, and it was hard to fathom the fact that the girl she had met that day in the small town of Arcadia Bay would end up being the most important part of her life.

“But…” Rachel continued, her gaze softening. She reached out and took Chloe’s left hand anyways, slipping the Ring Pop onto the designated finger. She admired the look of it with a smile, intertwining their fingers. “I’m not asking for real, not yet at least. You’ll know when I am, because I’m gonna make it the most special marriage proposal you’ve ever received.”

“I haven’t gotten any marriage proposals, Rach.”

Rachel slapped her shoulder lightly, her face begging her to let her finish as she rolled her eyes. “I will someday, though. So consider this a promise, a little tease of what’s to eventually come, if you will.”

Chloe’s heart fluttered, and she couldn’t resist leaning forward and kissing her girlfriend, eventually pulling away and slipping the Ring Pop in her mouth as Rachel groaned in protest.

She was an up-and-coming model in LA, and a drop-dead gorgeous one at that. She had people falling at her feet, she could have anybody she wanted in the city. But her love never strayed away from the girl she met in high school in their small town, and Chloe was happy that Rachel was promising to choose her for the rest of their lives.

“I guess if it’s just a promise ring, I can live with it.” Chloe teased, pressing another kiss to Rachel’s nose. “But who says I won’t be popping the question to you?”

“I’d like to see you try, Price.”

Chloe smiled in a way that undoubtedly looked dopey and insanely lovesick, but she couldn’t care less. Her thoughts flooded with rings on display and flower arrangements and white lace, and suddenly she wasn’t so scared of the future anymore. Not if her future was Rachel Amber.
