Now this may seem like a simple one but love can be shown in many forms, from familial love to romantic love, platonic love etc etc how ever you wish to present it

We would welcome it

New Beginnings~

My submission for Janeruri! It’s nothing too big just some cute interactions between Erwin and Levi in a high school setting!

Erwin looked up from his desk and over the rim of his thick glasses to sneak a peek at the new student.

He was dressed in dark ripped up jeans with an old Iron Maiden shirt. A leather jacket hung from his shoulders and his black hair was slicked back.

Erwin couldn’t focus on a single thing the teacher was saying as she stood up there with this new student.

All he saw was his gorgeous pale face and his cold steely eyes.

Erwin couldn’t bring himself to look away when the new student slowly turned to him. Erwin felt his stomach drop and his breath caught in his throat.

“Erwin. Erwin? Erwin!”

Erwin jumped in his seat as the teacher finally was able to get his attention. She gave him a smile and he cleared his throat, straightening up in his seat. “Would you please help Levi out today and show him around?”

Erwin looked back over and Levi and noticed just the smallest semblance of a smile on his face.

Erwin gave a small smile as well and nodded.

“Of course. It be my pleasure.”

Erwin felt really nervous as he walked next to Levi. He couldn’t get over how cool the shorter student was.

Clearing his throat, Erwin pointed to a locker.

“Here it is. You can get a lock from the office or bring one from home.” He looked through his glasses down at the new student who simply nodded.

Erwin cleared his throat and rearranged his books in his arms.

“So, how are you liking it so far?” Erwin asked, leading the way to his own locker to drop off his books.

Levi simply shrugged, looking around at the other students who looked right back.

Erwin bit his lip. There had to be a way to get Levi talking. His eyes went to a rectangular bulge in Levi’s jacket pocket and a light bulb went off in his head.

“Levi, would you like to see the roof?” Erwin smiled as he saw Levi’s face light up.

“The roof?” He asked softly, his voice seeming to cause shivers to race up his spine.

Erwin hadn’t counted on reacting so strongly to the sound of his voice.

“Y-Yea, the roof.” He cleared his throat and shook his head to clear it. “I like to go up there to clear my head sometimes.” He gave a small laugh.

“That sounds great, thank you.” Levi gave a small smile as he looked up at the taller student.

Levi didn’t know how to react to such kindness. No one at his old school had been nice to him.

“I think you’ll like it here.” Erwin said as he leaned against the rails that surrounded the schools roof. “I’m not sure what kind of activities you’re into but there has to be something here for you.”

Levi looked up at Erwin, exhaling cigarette smoke from his nostrils.

“I like to write, play guitar and read.” Levi smiled again, his defenses seem to be melting away. Talking with this tall boy, his blue eyes beautiful and piercing behind his thick rimmed glasses, made Levi feel like this change wouldn’t be so bad.

Erwin smiled down at him.

“That sounds great! I play a little guitar as well.” Erwin looked deep into those beautiful eyes and cleared his throat. “Maybe you can come over sometime? To my house?”

Levi put his cigarette out and gave Erwin a really big smile.

“I would really like that.” Erwin smiled and he looked over as the bell rang.

“Well we should get going back to class.” Erwin blushed as Levi reached up and traced his jawline with a thin pale finger.

“Erwin, thank you.” Levi said so softly that the tall blonde had to lean down closer to hear.

“F-For what?” Erwin muttered. He slowly raised his hand up and placed it on Levi’s.

“For being so kind to me. The only person who was ever nice to me was my mom.” Levi’s eyes began to shine as tears fell from them. He pulled his hand from Erwin as he wiped his face. “I had to come here after she died to live with my uncle.” Levi gave a strained smile. “I thought my life was going to get much worse.” Erwin blinked back tears as well. “But you,” Levi placed his hand on Erwin’s cheek again. “You made me see that it doesn’t have to be that way.”

“It doesn’t.” Erwin wrapped his arms around Levi, hugging the shorter boy close to him. “I’ll be here for you Levi. I promise.”

Levi clenched his eyes and held Erwin back just as tightly. This new beginning was turning out more better than he had ever imagined.

Why don’t you spread out the posting of the submissions? Meaning posting them as they are ready. This would give you a more balanced flow of content. Also having a bit more structure in the announcement posts and linking general rules with a more convenient layout could increase the number of participants.

Thank you for you kind suggestions this is definitely something I will take into consideration for next months theme, I am still a very new Admin with very limited experience when it comes to running any kind of blog let alone something that is as amazing as Eruri of The Month so I appreciate all constructive criticism 💜And hopefully you will be around to see me improve and grow 💜

Now that 2018 is officially up and running I am glad to say that we are now accepting all submissions for Eruri of the month- it does not have to be much it could be a 500 word story on how Erwin breaks his New Years resolution to clean up more or a quick sketch of chibi Eruri,

honestly anything at all that has your love and Eruri in it is welcome

on that note I will remind everyone that this months Theme is New Beginnings and submissions close on the 20th of January 8:pm AEST

New Admin & Jan Themes

Hey there I am the new Admin Mir 

and since we are already halfway through december I will be starting on January themes and i thought in Honour of both the New Year and belatedly Levi’s Birthday 

Since I am New to the blog the main Theme will be “New Beginnings”

The deadline for submissions will be Jan 12th so That We can post them All and To leave us enough time for February's  valentines theme

It's sad to see the blog go. The eruri fandom has changed so much. Some have moved on and some that are still here are in their own little clique. I've considered leaving but I love Eruri but I feel it's time. It's not the same, not the manga or the fandom.

It’s good to try but it’s not good to push. If the fandom may be dying but I’m satisfied knowing that I already did all that I could and that I won’t stop loving this pairing, they’ll be my OTP forever, that’s for sure. The fandom could change and die, but I won’t :)

Will you come back another time to try and reboot this? Maybe when everyone forgot about the drama that happened before?

I don’t know if it’s a good idea... if people doesn’t like me know and I don’t have any intentions to change, why would they like me in the future? 

But as I said, if anyone wants to take the idea I don’t have any problem, if people has personal issues with the way in which I was administrating the blog, and another person can do it better and people accept that person’s way, go ahead, I don’t need credits for the idea, I just want to maintain the pairing alive and the fandom together...

Announcement

In the past I said that I was going to cancel the blog on the moment that nobody creates any entry. I haven’t seen any entry for August so I guess there is no more people interested on the event.

I’m not going to delete the blog since here are all the entries for the past months but I won’t give more themes.

I appreciate all the support received by so many artists during the first months of the blog and I hope this helped you to have more followers and people enjoying your art. Besides I’m happy that this blog was useful to spread the love for this amazing pairing. 

The blog surely complied with its main goal, no matter how many negative people tried to make me stop with the idea even before starting it. And it’s a pity that it lasted just for few months, but you all may have your reasons to stop participating. Perhaps people didn’t like the way I manage the blog, or maybe the themes are not interesting. Anyway every reason is respectable and I really appreciate the support provided before.

Once again, thanks to all people who participated either creating entries or spreading the word, following and liking the art and loving this pairing.

Please keep supporting EruRi, and give them the love they deserve! ♥

PS: If anyone in the future wants to create a similar blog by using this idea, please feel free to do so, I don’t need any credit, as my only interest with this blog was to have more EruRi content on internet and help the artists to be known by the fandom.

PS2: I’m not giving up, but I understand when something doesn’t work anymore and I’m complying with what I’ve said in the past. However if you guys want me to continue with the blog and give me your word that you’re going to participate, I can change my decision. The only situation I want to avoid is keeping announcing themes that nobody will work with.
