Birthday Cake n Candles ❋ Bumjun (2Z)
Tumblr media
↳ Pairing: Bumjun (2Z)/Reader
↳ Word Count: 4,000
⁙ Summary: It’s Bumjun’s birthday and all you want is for everything to go as planned. But plans change, as the birthday boy himself decides to open his presents before cake.
⚠️ Warnings: Contains explicit adult themes not suitable for those under 18. Please read at your own discretion. THIS STORY CONTAINS SMUT.
“I’ve got the eggs, sugar and butter. All I’m missing is the frosting and candles. Then I can finally get home and make Bumjun’s cake,” you muttered to yourself, eyes scanning the grocery list grasped tightly in your left hand. Your right hand held a shopping basket full of ingredients, weighed down in your grip.
Tucking the list away, you weaved through the aisles of the supermarket in search of the missing items. They were located neatly in aisle six, conveniently right next to each other. Scanning the shelves, you tossed a jar of chocolate frosting into the basket, feeling it grow heavier.
“Oh shoot.”
Your hand paused before you could grab the candles, panic setting in. Sure, you and Bumjun had been dating for three years by now but Korean age was still a difficult thing for your foreign mind, leaving you unsure about if it was twenty-three or twenty-four you needed. There was a long pause as your hand wavered between the number three candle and four candle, already having tossed the number two candle in your basket.
“Bumjun is twenty-three in international age, so it’s probably my safest bet to go with that I guess. But what if he gets mad at me, since I should know by now? Ugh, this happens every year. Where’s Hojin when I need him,” you mumbled under your breath, finally giving up and tossing the number three candle into the basket.
Heaving the basket into the crook of your elbow, you booked it towards a checkout, greeting the cashier politely but leaving the supermarket as fast as you could. There was a cake waiting to be baked for your lovely boyfriend and you were determined to make it the best one you could.
---------------------------------------------------
“FINALLY FINISHED!”
Your triumphant cry rang through the small dorm kitchen, baking utensils strewn about covered in batter and frosting. In front of you sat a perfectly baked chocolate cake, covered in chocolate frosting. On the top there is looped writing, spelling out a very elegant ‘Happy Birthday Bumjun!’.
“Noona, why are you shouting? Sheesh! This place is a mess.” Junghyun commented, walking through the doorway and halting as his brain processed the disaster of the kitchen. His eyes landed on your cake and lit up, but you’re one step ahead of him.
“YAH! This is for your hyung! Back off before you lose your fingers,” stepping in front of your cake, you brandished a frosting spatula and pointed it at the tall bassist. His hands shot up in surrender, backing away from your masterpiece.
“Fine, fine! I won’t touch it, but it’s missing the candles, Noona. You did get them right? I told Jiseob-hyung to put them on the list,” Junghyun worried, pulling his phone out and showing the text he sent the other boy.
“I did Hyunnie, no need to worry. They’re in the bag over there,” gesturing to the shopping bag perched on the edge of the counter, you eased the worries of the youngest. He took two strides with his long legs before stopping in front of said bag and looking inside at the contents.
“Ah yep. You definitely got everything on the list!” You don’t hear the slight shaking of laughter in his voice, too busy cleaning the mess you left behind. Junghyun pitched in to help, ruffling your hair the way he knows you hate.
“Aish..” you rolled your eyes in annoyance, “I’m basically done here, so you and the other members should head out before Bumjun comes back. I still have to get ready,” you grumble, trying in vain to fix your now bird's nest hair. Junghyun snorts bemusedly but complies with a nod, vacating the kitchen to find his fellow members and leave. You finished cleaning up, speeding through the mountain of dishes in a record breaking time.
A breath of relief leaves your lips as the front door closes and silence descends, signaling solitude. A quick glance at the clock revealed you had just over a half an hour to shower and get dressed before Bumjun came home, your heartbeat stuttering in your chest as you raced to the bathroom.
Thirty minutes passed in the blink of an eye, the time on your phone teasing you with what was to come. You were dressed to the nines, a dark blue backless dress hugging your curves and stopping at your mid thigh, your beloved crystal studded heels on your feet. They were useless since you were staying in the dorm but you wanted to go all out for Bumjun. You decided to forgo heavy makeup, settling on some lip tint and a hint of mascara, glancing over your features in the bathroom mirror. Bumjun always complimented you on your natural look, preferring to see your bare face more often. You looked confident and sexy, feeling amazing; but something was missing.
You looked yourself up and down in the full body mirror hanging off the closet door, analyzing every aspect of your outfit for what the missing piece was. Your eyes were drawn to your bare neck, realization slapping you in the face. The final touch was the necklace Bumjun bought you for your second anniversary: a small golden sun resting daintily above the valley of your breasts. Another look in the mirror reassured you, feeling complete. Glancing at the clock again proved to be stressful, the time slowly dwindling down.
“The cake!” You remembered suddenly, perking up, “I still have to put the candles in!” A panicked gasp escaped your cherry lips as you bolted to the kitchen, a feat considering the heels you wore, scrambling to safely place the candles in the carefully decorated frosting. Leaning back, you take an appreciative look at your work, pleased with the turn out. But, you couldn’t help but feel a tad uneasy about the twenty-three sitting upon the dessert, feeling more and more certain that it was indeed supposed to be a twenty-four.
“Maybe we have normal candles around here somewhere. I’m sure Hojin missed them when he looked,” you rummage around the kitchen drawers, throwing a lighter beside the cake and continuing the search, “I swear there was some left over from Jiseob’s birthday, they have to be here somewhere-”
The chime of the front door opening made you freeze in place, your breath caught in your throat as you slowly shut the kitchen drawer and turned around. There’s shuffling at the front door, something dropping to the ground with muffled grumbling.
“Okay (Y/N) just light the candles and wait for him to come to you. You got this, even if the candles are wrong because of your pea brain, he’ll understand,” you reassured yourself in a whisper, lighting the two candles quickly and lifting the cake with caution you didn’t know you possessed.
“Babe? Guys? Anyone home? It’s so quiet in here,” Bumjun called out curiously, his soft footsteps growing closer. The cake in your hands wobbled a tad as you felt butterflies swarming in your stomach.
Bumjun rounded the corner and your eyes connected, the butterflies doubling down on their intensity. His gaze broke from yours as his sharp eyes flicked to what was held in your hands. He let out a startled laugh, entering the room further until he was in front of you, his eyes fixated on the cake before his gaze met your own.
“Did you do this all for me, lovely?” Bumjun questioned, his deep voice sounding pleased. His eyes trailed your body, tongue flicking out against his bottom lip as he appreciated the sight. The way the dress clung to your body tempted him, the milky complexion of your exposed skin turning him on. He wanted to mark it up, leaving his claim on you. Your slight huff breaks him out of his reverie, eyes snapping back up to meet yours.
“I really appreciate it all, sunshine. But, you did make one tiny mistake,” his eyebrows rose playfully, the corner of his lip quirking into a teasing smile. The groan you let out had to be one of the most unattractive sounds in the world, but Bumjun’s loving gaze never wavered, enjoying your pouting expression.
“I tried my best, okay! Hojin wasn’t around to help this time and you know how confused the age stuff makes me. At least I remembered to buy the candles this time!” You whined, puffing your cheeks out when Bumjun giggled.
“It’s okay, sunshine. The candles don’t matter anyway; it’s the cake that does,” Bumjun’s voice dropped to a lower register, the huskiness making your thighs clench together as a wave of arousal hit you. At this point the wax from the candles had begun its descent towards the frosting of your time consuming dessert, something you’d wanted to avoid.
“Yah Junnie, just blow out the candles! The wax is running everywhere, it’s gonna ruin the cake!” Your voice shook with anticipation, taking in how dark your boyfriend's eyes had become, sizing you up like he wanted to devour you. At this point, you definitely were not opposed.
“Why should I blow out the candles, when you can just blow me instead?”
You can feel the slick drip into your black lace panties at his words, the cake becoming momentarily unstable in your hands before regaining balance. Bumjun slowly leaned forward until he’s faced with the sweet treat, inhaling the scent of sweet chiffon and chocolate frosting.
Your eyes never left his, locked in an intense stare down as he let a puff of air escape his lips, putting out the flames that had been burning for far too long. He doesn’t stop there however, his plush lips moving to taste the delicate frosting, gathering a scoop of it in his mouth.
Bumjun doesn’t give you a chance to speak, his lips quickly attaching to yours as if attracted by magnets. He wasted no time prying your lips open with his tongue, nipping the bottom with his teeth to aid in his quest. The taste of the frosting was sweet, melting across your taste buds the more Bumjun kissed you. You were so taken by pleasure you didn’t notice Bumjun efficiently removing the cake from your weak hands, sliding it onto the counter and out of the way, the fun just beginning.
He broke the kiss, watching with satisfaction as you gasped for air, lips swollen and covered in chocolate tainted saliva. Bumjun’s hands wandered across your hips, pulling you closer to grind his hard length against you, soft grunts filling your ears. Your hands were dancing along his chest, massaging and groping the firm muscle. Fingers descended to his lean abs, slightly pushing him off you to reach forward and pop open the button on his tight jeans.
Bumjun rapidly got the hint, taking a step back to give you a show as he unzipped his jeans, the bulge of his cock straining against his black briefs. Saliva pooled in your mouth at the sight, wanting nothing more than to wrap your lips around it and let him use your throat. A needy whine bubbled up in your throat as Bumjun’s cock sprung free from the confining cotton, precum already forming at the tip.
“On your knees baby,” Bumjun commanded, hand coming to his cock, slowly jerking it off. You didn’t hesitate to follow the order, knees hitting the tiled floor a tad harder than intended, but the slight pain added to your pleasure.
Bumjun shoved himself in front of you, his hard length merely an inch away from your face. You took a moment to analyze it, the slight curve and prominent veins. He was long and thick, but not overwhelmingly so. You’d had always joked with him that he was the best dick you’d ever taken, something that would turn his eyes dark with want before he would fuck you until you couldn’t walk. His eyes were dark now with that same want, as he gently tapped the tip of his dick against your stained lips.
Those lips part and his cock slid in, enveloped by the wet heat of your mouth, drawing a guttural moan from deep in Bumjun’s throat. One of his hands tangled itself in your now messy hair, the other brushing away the tears spilling down your cheeks. Every nerve was alight, heat coursing through your body as you swallowed further around him.
“Mmmmm- ah! Always so good baby girl, so good for me. Fuck, your mouth-” he growled out, hips stuttering as one of your dainty hands came up to fondle his balls, the other gripping tight onto his thigh. You stared up at him from underneath your lashes, teasing his slit and swallowing again. His thrusts quickened, precum and saliva mixing together and bubbling down your chin. You were taking his cock like a champ, the tip hitting the back of your throat every so often but your resolve remained unwavering. Despite how much you both have done this, you still gag once or twice; which only seemed to encourage him further.
At this point your underwear were completely soaked through, slick starting to coat the inside of your thighs. You were beyond turned on, almost desperate for Bumjun to just slide inside your wet heat, breeding you into submission. As if he read your mind, he twitched hard inside your mouth, precum squirting from his tip.
Bumjun cursed loudly before gently pushing you off his aching length, a hand quickly wrapping around the base to stave off his impending orgasm. His face was red with exertion, sweat dripping from his brow and down his neck into the collar of his shirt.
“Why- why’d you stop?” You coughed, precum/saliva spilling from your lips. Your voice was raspy, throat fucked into silence, just the way you liked it. Bumjun helped you stand, your knees protesting the movement vehemently with pops. His thumb wiped his secretion off your chin, pushing it in between your lips as he tilted your head up to meet his eyes.
“It’s my birthday, the least you can do is let me cum inside you,” he hummed, eyes predatory as he watched you almost crumble from the sentence alone, knowing how you felt about being bred, the risk and the intent flooding your mind. He wrapped you in an embrace as the two of you got pulled into another kiss, bodies rubbing against each other as you both sought to find release. The last rational part of your brain realized something crucial, as you spoke up in a mewl.
“We- we can’t fuck in the kitchen Jun. The others-”
Your protests were cut short by Bumjun kissing you again, making you melt against him before letting out a squeal against his lips as you were lifted onto a clear space of countertop. Bumjun planted himself in between your legs, your dress riding up as they spread to accommodate him. He took notice of your underwear choice, as well as the slick glistening on your thighs, a low groan rumbling deep in his throat.
“But Noona, it’s my birthday. And I have the best present in front of me waiting to be played with,” the words were whispered into your ear as Bumjun licked the shell of it, his hand making contact with your clothed pussy.
A million thoughts were running through your head as you released a strangled moan, body jerking at both the name and the touch. Curse this handsome man for knowing how flustered you get when he calls you Noona, the one year age difference becoming useful, as your brain went fuzzy around the edges.
“Mmmm, ah, okay, okay! Just- you’re helping me bleach everything after,” you panted, feeling Bumjun’s cold hand slip into your underwear, coming into contact with your throbbing clit. His other hand was kneading your left breast through your dress, the combination of both stimulants making you weak and floaty.
“Sounds fair… Noona,” Bumjun purred, the honorific turning you on way more than it should. A whine built up in your throat as he pulled away, becoming placated seconds later as you realized he was taking off his clothes. Heat pooled in your belly as your eyes drank in his lean body, tracing the curve of his ass unashamedly, before locking your eyes back on his cock.
It was still rock hard and twitching against Bumjun’s abdomen, leaking precum like as his fist wrapped around it, jerking it off a few times while his eyes lingered on your debauched self. He was becoming impatient with the want, no, need, to fuck you senseless.
“Please Jun, need you - please,” the pleading whimpers fell from your lips in a rush, your brain fogging up as your boyfriend crowded you with his body and his scent, his cologne sending a spark to your core. Your soaked panties were slid down your thighs and off your trembling legs, discarded somewhere haphazardly on the kitchen floor.
Bumjun dropped to his knees, a tad more graceful than you were, kneeling in front of your dripping pussy and leaning forward to seal his lips around your clit. His hands came up to hold your thighs apart as they tried to clamp around his head, the feeling of being eaten out by his skilled mouth overwhelming you. He propped one of your legs on his shoulder, giving him better access to further bring you to the edge. Bumjun alternated between suckling on your clit and shoving his tongue as far into your hole as he could to collect the addicting juices that flowed out. The sounds you were making above him were sinful, his teasing leaving you on the verge of orgasm. But he didn’t want you to cum on his tongue, he wanted you to cum on his cock.
Bumjun regretfully removed his face from your folds, your essence spread across his chin and nose, before wiping it off erotically. There was drool that spilled from the corner of your mouth, eyes brimming with tears as you waited to be taken. He wished he could take a photo of this moment, seeing you so ruined and he hadn’t even fucked you yet.
He couldn’t wait anymore, lining up his slick cock with your hole and slowly pushing in. Bumjun decided to leave your dress on, the idea of him wrecking you in something so expensive and hard to clean made his dick leak more, dripping precum into you. You leaned back further against the counter, bringing your arms around Bumjun’s neck and pulling him down into a desperate kiss to distract from the throbbing ache his (admittedly) large dick caused you.
“Don’t worry, Noona, you’re gonna be screaming my name real soon. The neighbors will have to file complaints after hearing your pretty moans all night,” he rasped out against your lips, trying to hold back from fucking you into oblivion as you adjusted.
“I’m ready, Junnie, just ruin me. I wanna be dripping in your cum, pump me full of your kids and, ah, knock me up-” the filth that spilled from your petal lips was enough to kickstart Bumjun into furiously thrusting in and out of your tight heat, your cries increasing in volume as pure fire spread through your veins. His cock stretched and filled you so well, you knew you wouldn’t be walking properly for a while after this.
His lips migrated to your neck, sucking in dark bruises that you knew will be hell to cover up after, already imagining the teasing from your boyfriend’s bandmates. You couldn’t deny the euphoria it gave you, however, noticing that the heat growing in your belly was becoming tight, ready to snap.
“I can feel you clenching around me so tight, Noona- You’re, holy shit, you’re so fucking perfect,” the pace of his thrusts stuttered as your pussy clenched around him once more, responding to the praise given. Your staccato moans grew louder and louder, reverberating against the walls. The final straw was when Bumjun slid a hand in between your bodies, fingers applying mind breaking pressure against your neglected clit.
“Ah! I’m cumming-” You sobbed, cutting yourself off with a honey sweet moan that, combined with the spasmed clenching of your pussy, threw Bumjun over the edge. The moan that exited your mouth turned into a whimper as you felt hot semen fill you up, spurting deep into you with each throb of Bumjun’s cock.
He pulled out before he finished cumming, spraying a few shots of it across your abdomen and the front of your dress, with the image of your cum stained self forever preserved in his mind. Your eyes slipped shut as your chest heaved, the adrenaline leaving your body as you collected yourself.
“Sunshine?”
Cracking an eye open, you glanced up, Bumjun gently smiled down at you before helping you sit up and get off the counter. You felt his now cooling cum drip down your legs, as you wobbled and caught his arm, letting out a giggle. He scooped you up and made the trek towards the bathroom, intent on giving you the best aftercare bath as a thank you for his birthday treat.
Water filled the tub and Bumjun stripped the dress from your body as you let out murmured threats under your breath as you noticed the giant stain streaking across the front of the fabric.
“Lavender or rose?” Bumjun questioned, holding up two different bubble bath solutions. You wordlessly pointed to the lavender bottle, needing the relaxing scent. He grinned, dropping a few splashes into the bath water and helping you inside, almost wiping himself out as he slid in with you.
The two of you sat in the cramped tub together, your back against Bumjun’s chest as he carefully scrubbed you down. He nuzzled your cheek, taking notice of your fluttering eyelids, the need for sleep consuming you.
“Stay awake just a little longer, sunshine, then we can sleep,” Bumjun assured you, standing from the bath and drying himself off before dragging you out to do the same. He left momentarily to grab the both of you some pajamas, snorting in bewilderment when he came back to you in the bath again, content with warmth.
Despite the minor setback, Bumjun had you dried and dressed in the comfiest pajamas you owned (which were his own, but he wasn’t bothered). He had donned his own, grabbing your hand as you both stumbled to your shared bedroom. You fell into the bed, exhausted by the day’s events but still awake enough to beckon Bumjun over, watching with heavy eyes as he slid into the bed beside you. You wiggled your body closer to his, almost nose to nose as your legs intertwined under the duvet. Bumjun pressed a quick peck to your lips, pulling back with a grin.
“Thank you for the best birthday ever, Sunshine. Even if you did get my age wrong for the candles-”
“You’re never gonna let me live that down, are you?”
“Oh definitely not,” he snickered, giggling harder as you complained. He tugged you closer, your head gently tucked under his chin as his arms wrapped around you, pressing a kiss to your hair.
“We also didn’t clean up the kitchen. Gotta clean it up before the others come home. Just, set an alarm or something I guess,” you yawned, eyes fluttering with the struggle to stay awake. Bumjun moved around beside you momentarily, the thump of his alarm clock hitting the night stand while reassuring you that said alarm had been set. He returned to his original position, settling in for sleep.
“I love you (Y/N),” Bumjun whispered into the dark and you can feel the love that oozed from those four words. A smile bloomed across your face as you gently whispered back.
“I love you too, Bumjun. Happy birthday.”
-----------------------------------
The next morning a horrified scream pierced the quiet dorm.
“YOU GUYS FUCKED IN THE KITCHEN?!”
“Well I guess it’s too late to clean up now!”
“BUMJUN!”

Blankets and Movies ❋ Kim Tae Hyung
Tumblr media
↳ Pairing: Kim Tae Hyung (V)/Reader
↳ Word Count: 2,554
⁙ Summary: Taehyung wrapping a blanket around Y/N when they are sitting on the couch and watching a show/movie after she has a bad day and confides in him
⚠️ Warnings: Contains minor mentions of self esteem issues/depression. Please do not read if you are triggered by any of these!
Today just wasn't your day. Nothing particularly wrong had happened thankfully; however, you just woke up in a horrible mood and couldn't seem to shake it. Your boyfriend Taehyung hadn't given you a goodbye kiss, and you were upset. You being upset led to you snapping over the phone at your best friend, Kenzie. Which then led to a small fight, Kenzie refusing to talk to you.
Then, at work, your computer short-circuited and you had lost the 2-hour long progress you had made. When your lunch break came around, you ended up overcooking your lasagna in the work microwave, burning it beyond edibility. Coming home from work was no small feat, either. You had gotten stuck in a traffic jam for close to 2 hours.
Now here you were, finally home. Starving, cranky, and sleepy. You couldn't decide between wanting to eat a whole box of cereal or flopping in your bed and sleeping until you were old and wrinkly. After a brief moment of hesitation, you decide just to skip eating for now and instead have a nap, praying it would make a little bit of your lousy mood dissipate.
You shed your work clothes quickly, tossing them across the room and narrowly missing the clothes hamper. Waving it off, you promptly threw on one of Taehyung's shirts, practically diving into your shared bed and curling up under the plush duvet. Your hand blindly reached out in the bedroom's darkness, patting the bed around you until you found what you needed. Feeling the cool fabric under your fingertips, you snatched up the TaTa plushie, snuggling it close to your face and inhaling Taehyung's scent.
As you laid there, the day's events raged around your head like a tsunami. You couldn't help but let out a little whimper as you remembered everything terrible that had gone wrong. Bringing a hand up to rub at your eyes, you let out a pitiful sniffle. You were too overwhelmed lately, with work and stress and deadlines. However, you felt you couldn't confide in Taehyung. With his packed schedule and own stress, you wouldn't dare burden him with your meaningless problems.
So you did what you usually do, and cried it out as you clutched onto the TaTa plushie for dear life, burrowed under your nest of blankets. You let everything out, your poor pillow getting soaked with salty tears. After a while, your tears ran out, tear tracks sticky on your cheeks. Rolling over, you grabbed your phone off the nightstand, squinting as the bright light assaulted your eyes. It was almost time for Taehyung and the rest of the guys to get home. Throwing your phone down beside you, you tug the duvet up around your chin, shutting your eyes and letting yourself slip into a floating dream.
At this point, BTS was on the way back to the dorm after a day filled with photo shoots and dance practices. Everyone was sore and tired, ready to go home and finally relax for a couple of days. Taehyung groaned softly to himself as he stretched his neck, seated in the large van that was taking them home. He especially couldn't wait to get back and cuddle you. He knew you hadn't had the best wake-up this morning and felt extremely bad for leaving you without your usual morning kiss. He planned to cuddle with you as soon as he got back to the dorm.
"What are we gonna eat for dinner, Jin Hyung?" Jungkook asked as he yawned, tired from the early morning start they had. Everyone was in some state of sleep or alertness, ready to get back to the dorm to shower and eat. Some of the boys perked up at Jungkook's question, wondering the same thing but too tired to voice it.
"We might just order something. I'm too tired to cook," Jin responds from his seat at the front of the van, eyes still shut as he tries to rest. They all agree with his idea and start to argue over what food to order. Taehyung stays quiet as he stares out the window, ready to get home and cuddle with you.
After a short amount of time, the van finally pulled up to their apartment building, a gorgeous high rise looking out over the city. They arrived in the parking garage, members clambering out of the van as it finally parked. Taehyung noticed your car parked in its usual parking spot, meaning that you were home. He was pushed to get up to the apartment faster, some of the other boys protesting the fast pace, trying to catch up with him.
"Yah, Taehyung, slow down! Why are you in a rush?" Hoseok called as he tried to catch up to his younger band mate, the rest of the boys behind him. Taehyung turned around quickly and smiled his big boxy smile, radiating happiness.
"Hyung (Y/N) is home! I really can't wait to see her, so we have to hurry," Taehyung calls to them as he proceeds to make it to the elevator, impatiently pushing the button to call it to their floor. The rest of the boys finally catch up, some huffing as they try to catch their breath. The elevator finally arrives, and Taehyung waits impatiently for the rest of the members to clamber on as well, before pressing the button for their floor.
It takes less than 20 seconds to get to their floor, but for Taehyung, it feels like a lifetime. When they finally get to their stop, he is the first one out, rushing to the door of their apartment, hastily unlocking it with his key and stepping inside.
"Jeez Tae, you don't have to rush. (Y/N) is still going to be here even if we took an hour," Jimin comments, entering the apartment behind Taehyung, exchanging his shoes for slippers. Taehyung scowls a bit at Jimin's comment but takes off his shoes and slides on his slippers, instantly making a beeline for his room where he knew you would be. He approaches his room and opens the door, expecting you to be sitting in bed reading or watching some crazy theory video on Youtube. However, he was shocked when he saw the outline of your body underneath the bed's comforter, face buried in your pillow. Taehyung frowns to himself, already realizing that you weren't doing that well. He starts to make his way towards the bed but freezes when you groan and roll over, blinking at the soft light streaming in from the hallway.
"Tae? Is that you?" You slur as you try to blink the sleep out of your eyes, sitting up in bed and brushing your wild hair out of your face. Taehyung approaches the bed and sits down next to you, gently kissing your head and smiling.
"Hey, baby. How was your day today?" Taehyung asks as you snuggle into his arms, welcoming his embrace. He could feel you stiffen in his arms, the question bothering you. He was worried because he knew you weren't one to tell anyone about your worries or troubles.
"Babe? Did something happen?" He asks as you pull away from his arms, your gaze cast downwards. You don't answer for a minute or two; the room cloaked in awkward silence. When you looked back up at him, your eyes were glazed with tears and your bottom lip was trembling, a telltale sign that you were on the verge of a breakdown.
"Tae… It was so hard," You sobbed out, shoulders shaking with each trembling breath you took. Taehyung could feel his heart breaking, realizing that this wasn't just from events that happened today.
"Oh, sweetheart," he breathed as he pulled you back into his arms, laying you both down on the comfy bed. You snuggled into his chest, your salty tears soaking his expensive shirt, but he didn't care. He just wanted to comfort you.
"Tell me what happened, okay? Just let it all out."
The dam broke as you started talking (well sobbing) about everything that happened that day and then proceeded also to tell Taehyung about your earlier worries. His grip tightened on you as he gently rubbed your back to console you, occasionally planting a kiss on your head.
By the time you had finished your emotional rant, your chest felt lighter, and your mind felt clearer. Sitting up in the bed, you pulled away from Taehyung's grip and wiped your eyes, letting out a watery laugh.
"Sorry for springing this all on you, Tae. I didn't want to be dramatic," you admitted, watching as Taehyung sat up as well, a frown marring his handsome face.
"Baby, I want you to tell me these things. I want to know when you're feeling upset or insecure or angry. I want to hear about your day, whether it's good or bad. Don't hold back anymore, please," he pleaded, grabbing your face in his large hands and making you look him in the eyes.
"Okay, Tae," you forced out as he squished your cheeks lovingly. Taehyung gave you a radiant smile and brought your face close to his, giving you a deep, loving kiss. It lasted for all of 10 seconds before your stomach rumbled, breaking the warm atmosphere.
"Are you hungry, or are you hiding a bear in your stomach?" Taehyung jokingly asked,  watching as your face turned scarlet with embarrassment. You sputtered out an apology as Taehyung laughed his deep laugh, standing up and bringing you with him.
"Come on love, let's get some food," Taehyung says as you both leave your shared room, your eyes squinting against the brightness of the hallway. You both end up traveling to the living room, finding that most of the group was lounging around.
"Hey (Y/N), how was work today?" Hoseok asks as he notices your and Taehyung's arrival. The rest of the boys look up and say their greetings; you give a small nod and wave in return.
"Uh, it was… eventful, to say the least," you scratch the back of your neck sheepishly. Hoseok takes the hint, not pushing any further. Taehyung takes this chance to speak up, looking to Jin, who was reading in the armchair.
"Hyung, are we going to order food soon? (Y/N) sounds like she hasn't eaten in 84 years," Taehyung asks him as the others laugh when your stomach rumbles, creating perfect timing.
"Well, we can always order from the chicken place around the corner? They're pretty fast and have good food," Jin suggests as Namjoon already pulls up the delivery service on his phone. Everyone quickly shouts what they want, and they order.
"Yah Jungkook scooch over you lump," Taehyung scolds as he notices the maknae taking one whole couch. Jungkook rolls his eyes but ends up sliding over to the one side, giving you and Taehyung enough room to sit down and snuggle.
You quietly chat with Jungkook, who was on your right, talking about the newest Overwatch update. After about 20 minutes of quiet chatter with Jungkook, Yoongi and Jimin occasionally joining, the food arrives.
"Alright, you heathens if I see anyone drop any of this on the floor or the furniture I am never letting you guys taste my cooking ever again," Jin threatens as he passes out the containers of fried chicken, everyone sitting around the coffee table and digging in.
"Yes, Jin Oppa," you smile as you grab a piece of chicken, popping it into your mouth. Jin smiles at you, always appreciating your dedication to cleanliness.
The chicken gets consumed relatively quickly; everyone quiets apart from the TV playing the newest Running Man episode. Jimin and Hoseok clean up the boxes, and everyone agrees to a movie before heading to bed.
Two movies get debated, Spirited Away or Parasite, and with a 5 to 3 vote, Spirited Away is chosen. You can feel yourself becoming sleepy again, your belly full and sated.
"Sweetheart, if you want to go to bed, you can," Taehyung whispers in your ear as he notices you jolt awake from where you were drifting off. You grumble something back at him, although he can't make out what you said, curling into his body for warmth.
"Hyung, can you pass me that blanket behind you?" He whispers to Yoongi, nodding at the fluffy throw blanket on the back of his loveseat. Yoongi blinks and throws it Taehyung's way, Taehyung giving him an unamused look when he gets smacked in the face with it.
You give an appreciative hum when Taehyung wraps the blanket around the two of you, providing more comfort. It takes less than a minute to fall asleep, the white noise of the movie helps.
Taehyung smiles down at your sleeping face, pressing a quick kiss to your temple and holding you closer to him. He looks up as he hears a quiet camera click, seeing all of his band mates and brothers looking towards the two of you with big smiles.
"You guys love each other, huh?" Jimin asks with a heartwarming smile. Taehyung glances back down at you, noting your peaceful expression and steady breathing.
"I love her more than I love living itself, Hyung. She was so upset today and felt like she couldn't tell me because of how busy we are with the comeback preparations," Taehyung murmured, frowning a bit as he remembered your earlier conversation.
"You know how (Y/N) is like Tae, even before the two of you started dating she was always so worried about causing stress to us just by being our friend," Hoseok reminds him, seeing how upset the younger was by how reserved you were with him.
"I know Hyung. I just want her to open up more. I love her so much, and I want her to be happy," Taehyung said, readjusting his grip on you as you wiggled into a more comfortable position.
"She is happy with you, Tae. Everyone can see that. You both just have to work on this moving forward. It's all going to be okay," Namjoon advises him, his wise words striking a chord in Taehyung.
"You're right, Hyung."
"I know I am. Anyways I think it's bedtime for everyone, it's getting late, and we have more things to do tomorrow," Namjoon states, everyone, groaning and stumbling off to their rooms.
"I'm gonna take (Y/N) to bed, I'll see you in the morning Hyungs," Taehyung whispers, lifting you with ease and tucking the blanket back around your sleeping body.
He enters your shared bedroom, gently tucking you into the bed as you rolled over and grumbled, kicking your legs a bit. Taehyung giggles, changing quickly into PJs before he slips into bed next to you, pulling the blankets up around you both.
"Hnnng? Tae?" You mumble as you wake up a bit from your sleep. Taehyung shushed you, gently stroking your hair to put you back to sleep.
"Go to sleep, baby. I love you so much," Taehyung whispers into the quiet of the night. You settle down and start to feel your eyes shut again.
"I love you too, Tae, so much."
What had started as a bad day had become a good one, Taehyung always brightening up your life. You wouldn't have it any other way.

Staying The Night ❋ Yang Hongseok
Tumblr media
↳ Pairing: Yang Hongseok/Reader
↳ Word Count: 2,784
⁙ Summary: Hongseok gets locked out of his house while his family is gone, so he spends the night at Y/N’s place, trying to keep his crush on her a secret
⚠️ Warnings: Contains minor cursing and minor adult themes. Please do not read if you are triggered by any of these!
"Are you kidding me right now?" Hongseok growled to himself as he rattled the handle on his front door. Of course, today would be the day he forgot his key, the one day where his parents were out of town, and his older brother was away with friends. He sighed again after trying to open the door for the nth time. He pulled out his phone, looking at his contact list briefly and running through a list of friends in his head. He figured he could crash at one of their places for the night.
"Well, I can't stay at Hyunggu's, his family doesn't have the room with their renovations. Hui and Hyojong are out of town too. Shit!" Hongseok slumped against his door with his head in his hands, mentally cursing his bad luck. He had been sitting there for a couple of minutes now, trying his best not just to break down his front door when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Hongseok? Are you okay?"
Looking up quickly, Hongseok reddened in embarrassment. In front of him stood his next-door neighbor and crush (Y/N), dressed in black dress pants and a white blouse, probably on your way home from your part time job. Hongseok promptly stood up, brushing off his jeans. You looked at him quizzically, a small furrow in your brow.
"U-uh yeah, sorry. I forgot my keys, and now I'm locked out," Hongseok admitted, sheepishly scratching the back of his head. You nodded, understanding his predicament. You approached and grabbed Hongseok's hand, giving it a small pat.
"You don't have anywhere to stay, do you?" You ask, a small smile stretching across your lips. Hongseok flushed, surprised by your touch, but shook his head. Your fingers slip away from his as you turn to leave. Hongseok's shoulders slump in disappointment, watching you recede with a frown.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Let's go, silly!" You giggle cheerfully, waving Hongseok towards you with a well-manicured hand. Hongseok stares at you in confused bewilderment, not moving an inch. You sigh, firmly placing both of your hands on your hips, delivering Hongseok an exasperated look.
"Hongseok, I'm offering to let you stay the night at my place," You explain slowly, your face changing to a patient smile. Hongseok still couldn't process your words, but he grabbed his fallen backpack anyway. You grasp his sleeve and start pulling him towards your house, just a few meters away. Hongseok feels like he is in a daze, letting you lead him along.
Hongseok had always liked you, his feelings for you never wavering. He loved the way your hair shone in the sunlight, always looking glossy and full. How your lips never seemed to lose their pink pigment. Your eyes were like diamonds, deep and sparkling. He could list a million reasons why he liked you. You were a caring, loving, selfless person, and his heartbeat a million miles a minute whenever he laid eyes on you. He never dared to confess, however. You were a beautiful girl, and he was Hongseok. He could never compare to you. He would keep his feelings silent for now.
"So here we are! Home sweet home, I guess?" You giggle as you unlock your front door, your Kumamon key chain jingling musically. You swung the door open, gesturing for Hongseok to go inside first. Hongseok stepped inside the foyer nervously, like he was expecting something to jump out at him. He looked around, noting that your house had a similar layout to his own. You strolled in after him, closing and locking the front door behind you.
"Mom? Are you home?" You yell into the foyer, slipping off your sneakers and padding further into the house. Hongseok silently did the same, quietly pardoning his intrusion. As he wandered further into the house, he noticed it's decorated with small ornaments, knick-knacks, and family pictures. Hongseok stopped in front of a wall adorned with images, dozens of frames hung up. He inspected them closely, noticing some were of you as a baby and smiled.
"So my mom isn't home. Guess she got called in for the night shift at the hospital, but she left us money to get pizza, so that's a plus!" You comment, walking out of the kitchen, a piece of paper in one hand and a wad of cash in the other. Hongseok internally screamed, placing an awkward smile on his face, and he felt as if his cheeks were set on fire. Now he was alone, with his crush, in her house. Today should feel like the best day in the world for him, but instead, he felt overwhelmed and panicked.
"So what do you want to do? We could watch a movie? I have all the Marvel movies on Blu-Ray," you announce proudly, smiling at Hongseok and gesturing for him to sit down on the couch. He did so, albeit a bit helplessly.
"Um, that's okay with me. I-if you want to, of course!" He responded, watching as you bent down in front of the entertainment center to search for said movies. He couldn't help but stare at you, your image fixated in his line of sight. You rustle around for a split second more before letting out a triumphant "A-ha!", holding in your hands the movies you had been searching for. Standing, you spun and showed Hongseok the Blu-Ray cases of the first couple of Marvel movies. You set them gently on the coffee table before looking back to Hongseok.
"Hey, Hongseok, do you mind if I go change? I need to get into some comfy clothes, my work uniform is killing me!" You ask sheepishly, pulling at the collar of your button-down shirt in annoyance.
"Y-yeah, of course! Go ahead, I'll just wait here," Hongseok stuttered, nervously patting the couch. You gave him a relieved smile, leaving the room. He could only stare after you, his eyes unconsciously tracing your swaying hips as you left. Feeling a vibration come from his pocket, he pulled out his phone, staring at the notifications he had received. Some were from social media, but most of them were from the group chat he had with his friends.
He quickly scrolled through the messages he had received, responding to his friends, and telling them about his current situation. They all responded with varying degrees of shock and surprise; however, Yuto and Wooseok decided to be little shits.
'Be safe, Hyung! Don't forget to use protection! ;)'
Hongseok flushed in embarrassment and sent a very crudely worded message back before locking his phone and placing it on the coffee table. He looked around the room again, about to get up when you returned to the room. Hongseok froze, taking in your new outfit change. He almost passed out when he realized what she was wearing.
You had changed from your button-up shirt and dress pants into a pair of shockingly tight high waisted jean shorts, barely covering your bottom and a cropped yellow tank top. Hongseok choked on his saliva, realizing he was staring (and maybe drooling). Putting in the first Marvel movie, you plopped yourself down next to him on the plush sofa, your body just a smidge too close to his own. You crossed one leg over the other, and Hongseok could have passed out right then and there.
"You still like (Y/F/P), right? I hope so because I ordered for us when I was changing," You inform, glancing at Hongseok as you started the movie. Hongseok tensed as your leg lightly brushed against his own, feeling the warmth radiating from your smooth skin.
"U-uh yeah, that's fine, thanks!" He squeaked out, sitting rigidly in his spot. You, on the other hand, had squirmed around to find a comfortable position. Eventually, you settled into place, legs tucked underneath yourself, slightly leaning your weight on Hongseok. You gently set your head on his shoulder, and Hongseok continued to feel light-headed.
The two of you sat together, immersed in the movie, and Hongseok struggled to not combust. He was so focused on your body next to him that he forgot about the incoming pizza delivery. You both jumped when the doorbell rang, Hongseok from surprise and you from Hongseok. He had let out quite a shrill shriek, jumping and knocking you off of him and onto the floor.
"Ow! Hongseok!" You complain, rubbing your sore arm from where you had hit it off of the coffee table. Hongseok quietly mutters an apology as you stand up and dart towards the front door, money in hand. Hongseok quietly excused himself, finding the bathroom and locking the door behind him.
"Come on, Hongseok! You got this, act normal!" Hongseok hissed at his reflection, splashing his crimson face with cold water. It had only been a fraction of time since he had arrived, and he was already so close to imploding. He splashed his face one last time, glancing at himself in the mirror before exiting the washroom and slowly creeping back into the living room.
"Ah, I was wondering where you went! I got you some cola and dished you up some pizza, so enjoy!" You say, waving a hand at the plate and glass sitting side by side on the coffee table. Hongseok sat down once again, digging into his pizza after realizing how hungry he was. He finished his two slices in record time and reached to grab some more. You stopped him with a gentle touch to his arm, and Hongseok froze, looking up at you with surprise.
"Hongseok, you have sauce all over your face!" You laugh teasingly, grabbing a napkin and leaning towards him. You stop about an inch from his face, gently wiping the spot of sauce on his chin. Hongseok inhaled sharply as you peered at him through your long lashes, deep pools of (E/C) gazing at him. Hongseok leaned forward, nose gently brushing yours, eyes flicking down to your lips. Your lips were almost touching when Hongseok realized what he was doing, jerking himself away from you instantly.
He gulped down breaths of air, his chest heaving, feeling as if he had just run a marathon. Hongseok could feel his face aflame with blush and fanned himself with his hands. However, he stopped when he heard a huff come from your direction. You sat with your arms crossed, cheeks blushing, and lips pouted in what seemed to be either anger or disappointment.
"Hongseok… Do you not like me? Did I do something wrong?" You ask timidly, your eyebrows furrowing together in sadness as you fumbled with your hands. Hongseok stared at you, bewildered. You glanced up at him, tears building in your waterline, bottom lip slightly trembling.
"No! No, of course not, (Y/N)! I'm sorry if I reacted badly, I was just really shocked and overwhelmed!" Hongseok tried to explain, gently grasping your hand in his own and scooting closer to her. You sniffled a bit and wiped at a tear that had managed to begin its descent down your flushed cheeks.
Hongseok could feel himself panic more, not wanting to make you upset. So he decided to do something drastic. He flung himself forward, his lips crashing onto your own, and kissed you. For a couple of seconds, nothing happened. The silence in the room was stifling. Hongseok was about to pull away when you hesitantly kissed him back, your small hands clenching onto the fabric of his t-shirt to pull him closer.
It felt like time had stopped. All Hongseok could feel was your lips slowly moving against his own, his heart hammering away in his chest. After what felt like years, both of you separated, pupils blown wide and panting out breaths of air.
"Wow, that was something else," You airly laughed, still trying to catch your breath. Hongseok laughed with you, his heart a bit lighter. You scooted yourself a bit closer to him, giving him a small glance as if testing the waters. Hongseok opened his arms, allowing you to cuddle yourself into them, breathing a sigh of relief.
"So, I take it that you don't hate me then?" You jokingly asked Hongseok, peering up at him from where you were curled into his side. Hongseok laughed and shook his head no, kissing the top of your head. You both sat in silence, listening to the movie slowly finish. Hongseok could feel his eyes get heavier and heavier as he fought a losing battle with sleep. He decided to just rest his eyes for a moment, slipping away into the darkness of slumber.
~~~~~~~
Hongseok jolted awake, a gasp caught in his throat. His head whipped back and forth, looking around the room. Sunlight was streaming in through the curtains of the living room, indicating that a new day had started. You were nowhere to be seen, however, making Hongseok worry. He slowly rose from the couch, his back protesting his horrid sleeping position as it popped. His first stop was the bathroom, relieving himself and washing his face. As he stepped out of the bathroom, he could hear your sweet melodic voice softly singing from the kitchen.
He stepped into the kitchen silently, creeping up behind you. You let out a soft squeal of surprise as he wrapped his arms around your waist, nuzzling his face into the junction of your neck. Hongseok pressed a sweet kiss on your cheek, releasing you from his arms to let you face him.
"Good morning, Hongseok! Did you sleep okay?" You asked with a bright dazzling smile, your eyes sparkling in the morning sun. Hongseok could feel himself melt.
"I slept okay, yeah. Did I fall asleep before you? I remember shutting my eyes for a moment, and then I woke up," Hongseok explains, watching you bustle around the kitchen making breakfast, which from observation was probably pancakes.
"Hm, I think you did. I fell asleep shortly after, however. You were so warm and comfy I just couldn't help it" You smirked at Hongseok, serving up some freshly cooked pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and topped with juicy strawberries.
Hongseok sat at the island counter, watching you intently as you fixed your own plate. You sat down opposite him, happily digging into your own pancakes. You both sat silently for a while, the clock on the wall slowly ticking as time passed. Hongseok was the first to speak up, gently clearing his throat.
"So about last night? Uh w-well, what are we?" He stuttered, flustered under your intense gaze. He could feel himself start to panic, his hands becoming clammy and his heart racing. You purse your lips, glancing away from him momentarily.
"Well, I would have thought me kissing you back last night was enough of an answer? Hongseok, you idiot, I like you!" You state, giving him an exasperated huff, smiling afterward. Hongseok instantly brightened up at hearing your confession, all of his worries practically flying away. He reached across the table and gently grasped your hand, intertwining their fingers.
"I was so worried! You know, because you're amazing and so beautiful, and I'm just me. Your next-door neighbor. I thought I didn't have a chance with you," Hongseok confessed, flashing you a sheepish smile when you groaned at him.
"Hongseok, you're an actual idiot. I've had a crush on you for like 5 years!" You laughed, obviously noticing Hongseok's surprised expression. He put his head on the table and groaned, realizing how stupid he was. He felt a hand gently run through his hair and looked up, watching as you leaned forward to pet him in comfort.
"Well, to be fair, I guess we are both idiots, huh? I had a crush on you for 5 years, and I didn't confess either," You comforted him, slipping your hand from his grasp and moving around to his side of the counter. You sat down on the seat next to him, taking both of his hands into your own. Your deep (E/C) locked him in your gaze.
Hongseok decided now was the time. He took a deep breath and leaned forward, giving you a long, sweet kiss. You kissed back, your lips moving together in tandem. You pulled apart a few seconds later, giggling and smiling.
"(Y/N) will you be my girlfriend?" Hongseok asked, cheeks red and heart racing. You leaned forward and wrapped your arms around Hongseok's neck, giving him a quick peck on the lips.
"Well, of course, I will!" You smiled, letting out a gasp when he picked you up in happiness. He carried you to the living room and plopped you both down on the couch. As you cuddled together, Hongseok couldn't help himself.
"Maybe I should have gotten locked out of my house sooner?"
The Accidental Revelation ❋ E-Chan
Tumblr media
↳ Pairing: Lee Changmin (E-Chan)/Reader
↳ Word Count: 3,739
⁙ Summary: You and Changmin go to a party to celebrate your friends recent successes. It doesn’t exactly go as planned when a secret gets revealed during a fight
⚠️ Warnings: Contains cursing, fighting, mentions of body image and a brief mention of some adult themes. Please do not read if you are triggered by any of these!
“I’m so excited!~” You can’t help but squeal, wiggling happily in the passenger seat of your boyfriend’s car. Changmin glanced over at you from his spot behind the steering wheel and chuckled, enjoying your sparkly eyed expression.
“You haven’t seen Kenzie in a while huh? Even though her and Junseo are a thing now,” Changmin mused to himself, smoothly turning the car onto another street, getting closer and closer to your destination.
“It’s because she’s always busy! She told me the last time we spoke that she had like 20 bookings for this month alone and another 15 people wait-listed. Her business is taking off,” you praise her, feeling proud of your best friend for pursuing her dream of being a photographer.
Changmin reaches for your hand, bringing it to his face to leave a sweet peck against your palm. You giggle to yourself, lacing your fingers with his. You turn back to stare out the window, always keen to watch the surroundings fly by in a rush of colors. Your mind was also turning, having found out some very important news just a week ago. You’d found out you’re pregnant and you had no clue how to bring it up to Changmin. This trip would be the perfect distraction from the conflict you were feeling.
Ten minutes later Changmin is pulling to a stop outside of a rustic house, something not very common in South Korea but very much beautiful. The both of you exit the car, stretching your legs from the not-so long, but traffic filled drive. Changmin comes around to your side of the car, putting an arm around your shoulders as you tilt your head back to admire his handsome face.
“How did I manage to get the most handsome man in the world to be my boyfriend huh? I must have done some good deeds in my previous life,” you joke, watching as his mouth splits into a wide grin, leaning down to peck his lips to yours briefly. You sigh wistfully, your eyes slipping closed and feeling like your life was really complete in that moment.
“C’mon my love, we have a party to crash,” Changmin reminds you, as your eyes peeled open, his hand pulling you along. Reaching the front door you leaned forward and knocked, also ringing the doorbell for good measure. A minute or so passed before the door swung open, revealing the figure of your best friend Kenzie.
“AHHHHH! I’m so happy you guys could make it!” She screeched, rushing forward to tackle you into a tight hug. You loudly cackled and hugged her back, tilting her from side to side. Changmin watched the outburst with the air of someone who has seen it countless times, slipping by and heading into the house where you hear shouts of his name.
“Come on in. Everyone else is in the living room playing Uno, but I’m pretty sure Harry-June and Sungmin are in the kitchen raiding the snacks by now. I told them they could only have some once you two arrived,” Kenzie explained, leading the way into her big house. You were well acquainted with the layout having been there times and times before but the size still always took you by surprise.
“Well hello boys!~ Who’s winning? It better be Seongsik because I have a bet with Changmin I am NOT losing,” you laugh, watching as they all whip their heads to where you’re standing.
“Well sad to say (Y/N) but you might be losing that bet. I’ve got the most cards,” Seongsik laughs as you crumple beside Dongil on the couch, pretend groaning in despair. Yuku laughs from where he sits a few feet away and you smile back at the ray of sunshine himself. Turning back, you watch as they continue their game, Heechan being crowned the winner. Changmin returns from the kitchen with Harry-June and Sungmin, the three of them carrying armfuls of chips and chocolates.
“I think some people have already started eating without us. How rude,” you tease, pointing out the chocolate smears on the lips of Sungmin who blushes profusely at being caught. Him and Harry-June settle down on the floor around the coffee table, the huge L shaped couch being filled by everyone else. Changmin shoves Gwanghyun over, taking the spot on your left as the younger boy complains, squeezing closer to Seongsik.
“So now that everyone is here, we have snacks and drinks and the games are set up, are we ready to get this party started?!” Kenzie announces, as everyone cheers, excited for what’s sure to be a fun night.
Kenzie grabs her PS4 controllers, handing them out to whoever wins rock-paper-scissors. The winners end up being Sungmin, Junseo, Changmin and Heechan. They decide to boot up some type of shooting game, becoming immersed fairly quickly.
“Hey (Y/N) did you want to come play Cards Against Humanity with us? Or do you wanna watch the boys play their game?” Seongsik asks, pulling out the big black box and getting it set up on the coffee table.
“Sure but just to warn y’all I’m gonna win,” you say cockily, sliding down from your spot beside Changmin, moving to sit at the coffee table. You swipe up your cards, taking a peek at your options before smirking.
You pass the time by playing the game, occasionally having other boys switch out to play some games on the PS4. Changmin let’s one of the younger boys take his controller, needing a break from shooting computer generated aliens. You’re in the middle of placing a card down when you feel his hands run through your hair, leaning back to further his ministrations.
“Minnie?” You pout, staring up at him with the best puppy dog eyes you could muster, obviously wanting something. He stares back down at you, replicating your pout horribly before whining back.
“Yes (N/N)? What can I do for you?”
“Can you get me cake or chocolate or something? I really want something sweet all of a sudden,” you ask, barely finishing your sentence before he’s standing up and strolling to the kitchen.
“Wow you have him whipped huh?” Gwanghyun teases from beside you, placing his card down and waiting for Harry-June to read them out. Yuku leans over to ask Sungmin what whipped means, nodding his head seriously as the older boy answers.
“He’s not whipped! He’s just being a caring boyfriend is all,” you shove him playfully before letting out a loud whoop at winning the game. Kenzie, Gwanghyun and Heechan all sigh at their respective losses.
“Hey I’m gonna run and grab some drinks from the garage really quick, don’t start the next game without me!” Kenzie warns, grabbing a hold of Junseo as she passes him, basically being voluntold into helping her. The boy himself looks quite smitten however, a blush painted across his cheeks as his girlfriend tugs him away. You stand up from your spot and shake out the numbness in your legs from sitting cross-legged.
“I’m gonna go pee really fast. Be right back,” you inform Harry-June who scrunches his nose up while at your too much information moment. Yuku nods from beside him, giving you a small thumbs up as he shuffles the cards.
Ruffling his hair you stroll to the bathroom and do what you need to do, taking a bit of time in there to freshen up and fix any stray hairs. You barely take 5 minutes in the bathroom, returning quickly to the living room but stopping in your tracks.
On the coffee table is an empty plate, chocolate icing smears present. Kenzie is sitting barely a foot away, licking the exact same icing off a fork. For some unknown reason this fills you with annoyance.
“What’re you eating?” You huff, coming closer to the coffee table but not sitting down quite yet. She looks up at you, eyeing the way your hands are held on your hips and your mouth set in a small frown.
“Oh there was a piece of cake sitting here so I just took the liberty of eating it. I think it was the last piece too but I’m not too sure,” she says, reaching forward on the table to deal herself some cards, before looking back up at you.
“Aren’t you gonna sit down and play another game?”
“I was until someone had to go and eat the cake that was mine,” you respond snootily, arms now crossed over your chest as you shifted your weight to your left hip, something that was a clear tell for you being mad.
“Yours? (Y/N) it was literally just sitting here on the table. No one’s name was on it,” Kenzie rolled her eyes, believing it was silly to be arguing about a slice of cake. That was the final straw for you.
“Are you kidding me, Kenzie? Usually if there is food sitting somewhere and no one is near it you’d at least ask who it belongs to!” You growl angrily, jabbing a finger in her direction. The boys are starting to notice the fight building up, wearily looking between the two of you. It’s Junseo who bites the bullet and tries to calm the both of you down.
“Let’s just take a breath here. Can’t we just get (Y/N) another piece of cake? Problem solved!” Junseo says soothingly, putting himself between you both as Kenzie stands up to meet your fiery gaze. Yuku and Harry-June are nervously glancing between the two of you, not expecting their older sister figures to fight.
“Uh that would be a problem solved if that wasn’t the last piece of chocolate cake,” Changmin whispers into the air, the tension becoming so thick it could be cut with a knife. Kenzie gently pushes Junseo to the side, stepping in front of you and giving you a fake sympathetic smile.
“Maybe if (Y/N) didn’t feel the need to be a fatass all the time we wouldn’t be having this problem. You don’t need to eat shit all the time you know?” Kenzie hisses, pointing at the small amount of chub around your belly, something you were always insecure about.
“Are you being fucking for real right now? I don’t eat like shit all the time. You just have to be a fucking bitch and mess with me!” You seethe, waving an arm at her.
By this point Changmin had also stepped forward, trying and failing to pull you away from the situation. Junseo is doing the same to Kenzie but the both of you refuse to budge. You can see from the corner of your eye the worried expressions and stances of the other boys, preparing for a fight to go down.
“I will actually fucking drag you right now if you don’t shut the fuck up!” Kenzie yells, shoving your shoulder as you stumble back a bit. You steel yourself and give her a good push back, seething in anger.
“Fucking try me, I dare you! You’re too fucking pussy!”
“Oh really?! I’ll fucking drag you across the floor and outta this house! I don’t care that you’re pregnant!” She screams in your face, raising her hand and slapping you harshly as you reel back in shock never expecting her to use that against you as she was the only one you confided in. Everyone around you had gone quiet, expressions varying from shock to surprise. Changmin’s hand loosely wraps around your wrist and you vaguely hear a shocked whisper of the word ‘pregnant’ but you’re too far gone to care.
“Oh it’s fucking on you hoe! I’ll drag you any day whether I’m pregnant or not!” You yell, giving her a harsh punch to the side of her jaw, grabbing her hair for good measure. She retaliates and starts clawing at you as the two of you break into a full on fist fight.
It lasts barely more than 15 seconds before everyone is breaking the two of you up. Junseo and Seongsik drag Kenzie away, taking her in the direction of the kitchen as you notice with triumph that she is sporting a few good scratches and bruises.
Changmin takes this chance to gently lead you away, finding the guest bedroom and sitting you on the fluffy duvet, crossing his arms as he stares down at you with a mix of disappointment and concern.
“She had it coming to her so don’t you go giving me a huge speech about me being in the wrong,” you grumble, crossing your arms but wincing, noticing the scratch marks going down your arm. Changmin notices and sighs, going into the on suite bathroom and wetting a face cloth to clean you up.
“I’m not gonna lecture you sweetheart. I just wanna know what went through your head to start a full on fist fight with your best friend of 17 years… Over a piece of cake?” Changmin asks, pushing away hair from your face that Kenzie had pulled.
“I-I don’t even know honestly. I was just looking forward to that cake and she took it from me. All that I felt was immense anger and she didn’t make it any better by not apologizing,” you murmur, putting your face in your hands as what you’d done settles in. Silence settles heavily into the air, Changmin shifting his weight as he stands crouches in front of you, dabbing at the scratches on your arm.
“What she said…. Is it true? About you, uhm, being pregnant?” Changmin’s hesitant and fragile voice filters through your ears, making your head shoot up to look at him with surprise. You feel your heart thrumming in your chest out of pure nervousness, not knowing whether he would be happy or upset that you were expecting.
“Changmin I-I was going to tell you I swear! I just didn’t know how and I didn’t know if you’d be angry or upset with me. We’re still so young and we aren’t married. Heck, you’re only in the beginning of your career and I haven’t even started mine. I’m just so scared,” you finish in tears, sobs escaping as you hastily try and wipe your eyes.
Changmin doesn’t say anything, instead just gathering you into his arms. You bury your tear soaked face into his chest as he murmurs soothing words, running his hands up and down your back to comfort you.
“I’m definitely not angry. Shocked for sure, but never angry. I sorta wish I was told in a different way as well, but I’m happy! I’m gonna be a dad!” Changmin says, a smile prominent on his lips and happy tears welling in his eyes. You smile back, wrapping your arms around his neck and giving him a long peck on the lips.
“I’m so thankful to have you be my soulmate,” you murmur against his lips, feeling him pull you closer onto his lap intending to further what you were starting. You were almost on board but stopped and pulled away, feeling the stinging pain on your cheek as a reminder of what just went down.
“As much as I’d love to continue what we were starting, I should probably go see if Kenzie is okay and apologize,” you hum, standing up from Changmin’s lap as he groans, trying to fix his pants to hide the tent that had started forming.
“Fine, but you owe me later,” he grumbles, following you out into the hall as you lace your fingers with his. You giggle at his obvious irritation.
“Don’t worry baby when we get home I’ll make it up to you,” you whisper seductively, cackling at the expression of pure want that flutters across his face. Shaking your head you continue on your way, stepping into the living room moments later.
Most of the boys were all sitting around the TV, playing their video game again and looking up in surprise when you entered the room. You glance around and notice that Kenzie, Junseo and Seongsik aren’t anywhere to be seen.
“Hey (Y/N), are you feeling a bit better now?” Dongil asks gently, wearily eyeing the scratch marks on your arm and reddened hand print on your cheek. Yuku also is staring at you worriedly and you feel bad for setting such a horrible example for the younger boy. Nodding, you give Dongil and Yuku a small, sheepish smile.
“Yeah I’m all good. I sorta need to talk to Kenzie though?” You trail off, feeling everyone's sympathetic stares on you. Heechan nods in the direction of the kitchen, focusing on winning the game. You huff at him but shuffle towards the kitchen anyways, Changmin letting go of your hand to go join the others.
You end up peeking your head around the doorframe of the kitchen, watching Kenzie’s back as she flies around while ordering Seongsik and Junseo to do things for her. Your brows furrowed in confusion as you come out from around the corner, catching Junseo’s eyes as he gives you a small smile.
“Ah I think Seongsik-hyung and I should go see if the others need anything!” Junseo squawks, yanking Seongsik out of the room as the older boy complains. Kenzie goes to protest their retreat before taking notice of you, the words dying on her lips.
“Uh hi,” you say awkwardly, giving a small wave as she eyes you up. Kenzie purses her lips and turns back around to whatever she is doing, making you deflate a little.
“I’m sorry,” you hear come from where she is standing by the counter, furiously mixing something in a large stainless steel bowl. You almost didn’t catch what she said, having to strain your ears to hear her whispered apology.
“No, I’m the one who should be sorry. I started a fight all because of a stupid slice of cake. And with my friend of 17 years at that,” you chuckle, moving to stand beside her as she looks up at you with tears shining in her eyes.
“I didn’t mean any of what I said. Words just spilled out and I said horrible things. I’m so sorry!” She says remorsefully, wiping a tear that slides down her cheek. Pulling her into a hug you shush her.
“We both said some pretty bad things and even got physical but sometimes shit happens. All we can do is acknowledge it, apologize and move on,” you pull away and hand her a paper towel from the roll on the counter. Kenzie chuckles and dabs at her eyes.
“You’re right of course. Which is why I’m making a whole cake for you and Changmin to take home. I also shouldn’t have outed your pregnancy like that. I knew you were scared to tell him and I still used it against you,” she looks down at her sock covered feet shamefully as you hum.
“Well I would have never found a better way to tell him so at least I have a story we can tell our kid and laugh about,” you tease, pulling a loud laugh from Kenzie who shakes her head in amusement.
“Friends?” You say, reaching a finger into the cake batter on the counter, smearing it across her cheek as she squeals. Kenzie ends up returning the favour, the two of you now matching.
“Friends.”
“Well I guess we should go reassure the boys that we aren’t ripping each other's hair out anymore!” You say cheerfully, watching as Kenzie pops the cake batter into a baking pan and puts it in the oven, setting a timer.
The two of you exit the kitchen, giggling at each other and wiping the cake batter of your faces. The living room had gone strangely silent and you looked up to see everyone wearily watching. Changmin and Junseo are on the edges of their seats, wary about another fight breaking out.
“Don’t worry gentlemen. Kenzie and I have duked it out and we’re all good now!” You say, pulling her into a side hug and giving her a noogie to which she whines at.
“Good cause if I had to break up another fight I would start charging fees,” Gwanghyun mumbles, watching the two of you fondly with a slightly disgruntled expression. Plopping yourself on the couch, you snuggle into Changmin’s side.
“So you’re both good now? No more fights over cake?” He asks, raising an eyebrow mockingly. You hum, putting a finger to your chin as you pretend to think.
“Well there’s no guarantee I won’t punch her if she steals my cake again. We’ll see!” Laughing at their expressions, shaking your head.
“So uh, pretty sure you all heard what Kenzie said earlier and I’m pretty sure you are all eagerly waiting for me to confirm or deny. Yes I am pregnant and yes you will all be uncles. And an aunt,” you announce, watching as all the boys plus Kenzie stand up and start cheering and exclaiming loudly.
“So our kid is gonna have 8 crazy uncles and 1 crazy aunt. I hope they’re prepared,” Changmin cackles, watching his band mates and friends still celebrating.
“And to think, this all happened because of a piece of chocolate cake!”
~17 Years Later~
“So Dad only found out you were pregnant with me because you and Auntie Kenzie had a fist fight over cake?” Your son asks you, watching his Aunts and Uncles chatter and laugh with each other around your spacious backyard.
“Yep! And on the way home I tried suggesting to your Dad to let me name you chocolate cake but he said no, sadly. He said no for your younger brothers as well,” you sigh wistfully, remembering each time you had asked Changmin to let you name at least one of your three children after what you both liked to call “The Accidental Revelation”.
“Mom, I mean this with all respect, but sometimes I don’t know what Dad sees in you,” your youngest son laughs at your offended expression.
“Hey I love your Mom a lot! Even if her choice of baby names is a bit…. Unconventional,” Changmin comments, wrapping his arms around your waist from behind and pressing a kiss against your cheek.
“EW NO PDA!” Your middle son yells as he tries to cover his younger brother’s eyes, getting shoved away.
“Maybe we should try for a fourth and finally name them chocolate cake!” You say cheerfully, clasping your hands together as Changmin and your sons stare at you in disbelief.
“NO!”
“Aw man!”
