Especially during stressful times (for me--that would have to be finals right now), I think it's even more imperative and beneficial to recognize the opportunities and good things that we are lucky enough to have.

Being grateful is humbling and exposes us to the bigger picture, beyond the smaller bouts of negativity that we are exposed to and we expose ourselves to. When I see the bigger picture, I am motivated to be better and do better.
