If you're on a thyroid medication like Levothyroxine or Synthroid, or you take a PPI (stomach acid medicine like Omeprazole, Pantoprazole, etc.), you want to take these medications on their own on an empty stomach first thing in the AM and avoid eating or drinking for about 30 - 60 min after taking them, otherwise they don't work/absorb as well.
