This old man, possibly in his late 60's, was seen in Porto last Saturday, the 29th of June 2024, waving a Portuguese flag on his doorstep while a pride parade marched past. He was the only one around waving a Portuguese flag.

In a video on Instagram published the following Sunday, singer Mara Nunes, who participated in the march, explains why the people in the crowd were initially wary of him. Waving a country's flag at a pride parade is often what anti-LGBTQIA+ nationalist protestors do, and people thought he might be one of these nationalists.

The old man, at one point, waved over a young marcher, Lily Martins, one of Mara's friends. The marchers stopped and waited with baited breath as Lily approached him, ready to defend their friend, if necessary. The old man told Lily, "It's for you," as he draped his Portuguese flag over her shoulders. Lily gave her own Progress Pride flag to the old man, and they hugged tightly before Lily rejoined the crowd.

"The entire march had stopped. We stayed there for a good while, very emotional," recounts Mara. During the trade, the old man held up the flag and pointed at his heart. "It's a pity he didn't say much. He asked if the flag was for him, hugged Lily tightly, and thanked her, weeping."

i decided (to get a little bit out of my oc-comfort-zone) to draw every month in 2023 a fanart for a anime that inspired me/i liked in my childhood/teenage years... so here comes the january!

sailor saturn from the 90's sailor moon anime.

she was always my favorite senshi in the first season she appeared, but i didnt like her younger form very much... i really liked hotaru from the first time seeing her on screen.

sailor moon has still a really important place for me, after all drawing anime/manga has started with it. rushing home after school, just to be able to the the next episode... man, that were great times!

I see a lot of people make posts along the lines of "why use AI when you can pay an artist," but nobody really provides an alternative for those who got into AI generators specifically because they're broke and don't know how to draw, but still want visual representations of their OCs.

The answer is dollmakers and avatar games. Hero Forge, Picrew, Doll Divine. Make a free account on Second Life or IMVU and use their character creators. Download the Sims 4 now that the base game is free. You have a lot of options, and they make great reference images if you save up to commission an artist later on. They may be limited, but are they any more limited than the AI generation process?

AI art is bad because it's art theft, not because it "has no soul" or whatever. People aren't trying to shit on your fun just for shits and giggles, or because they're trying to be elitist; people are upset because the AI is pulling from stolen art and stolen photos.

I am personally not interested in debating whether AI art is "real art," because that's secondary to the theft required to make the AI work in the first place.

so once again, since insta deleted the description before....

luxuria is one of the leaders of the darkones, a dark mother - the incarnation of lust.

a few thousands of years ago she was defeated by dio and loki, but was able to kill dio by dacapitate the young demigod by surprise before she finally died. but dying is not the right word. her body may be defeated, but the 'soul' of a dark mother remains and just gathering enough power to be reborn and stepped into the world of the living once more.

but this time was different. the soul of dio hold on to her.... only to give everything to interfere with her proper rebirth (not that she would get the idea - he must be totally into her!)

so as the time has come, dio's soul used almost all of his remaining strength to push her into the body of a newborn, innocent boy. that boy was sumire.

well, lets say he had now the two rent-free souls in his head.... and he had no chance to become a normal young man, if the incarnation of lust lives inside himself... but sumire likes both, they are like good friends...

but well. things happen, and both luxuria and dio have their own body back (or kind of)... now he can have soooo much fun with them! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 but luxuria had changed too. it seems like she had grown quite fond of some human beings... and of dio.
