Picked up some sort of bug. I don't feel well. I feel better than I did last night when I got off work but I almost feel drunk or hungover when I'm not.

I was working a lot of extra shifts training people. I'd honestly rather train people all day then work on my own tbh. But I had told my manager last week that our surgery schedule would be impossible with the amount of nurses on staff. She agreed with me and said she'd take of it when I knew there would be no change. There wasn't..there wasn't a change. She was really banking on these new nurses she'd hired, unfortunately both of these new nurses had deaths in the family and were out. Which is really inconvenient. There was also some sort of virus going around taking out a several of my other staff members. I can tell I'm getting old because I can get into a screaming match with a doctor and not cry. I held my ground and got what I wanted. I had barebones staff, meant I had to move incredibly slowly and there was nothing I could do.

but in any case, now I've picked up that same illness that was taking out my other girls. I got off work last night and instantly felt freezing cold and could not warm up. I took some nyquil and went to bed in sweatpants and a hoodie and socks. Normally I sleep clothes-less. But I was freezing to death. Then I woke up in the middle of the night with a pounding headache, my skin hurt all over and I was sweating profusely. Had to get up and take more drugs and I slept on the couch the rest of the night.

sitting still I almost feel normal, just a bit drugged in the head. When I stand up though its like I am not with it at all.

my poor dog I can tell is mad she's missed her walk this morning and is super bored. I just don't think I'm going to make it around the block.

Feel like I should have drawn something for the beginning of the new year but alas...I have nothing and nothing to film. I'll probably go take a bath.

I read that Disney got streaming rights to Sailor Moon and this may be a negative for some people but tbh I'd love to see any form of merch in the parks. I'd be there in a heartbeat and spend all the money. I prioritize my art supplies and my simba collection but lord knows if I had unlimited space and funds I'd collect all the Sailor Moon everything.

Halloween was actually pretty nice. I've been living in Georgia almost the past 8 years and trick-or-treating was just..dead...its very in the biblebelt and lots of people I think forgo traditional trick-or-treating for trunk-or-treat at churches and that to me was kinda disappointing. Mainly because when I was growing up, I have some really good memories of a traditional Halloween. My husband did not grow up with Halloween at all and then to be married to me and I can't even replicate a Halloween experience for him, kinda makes me sad. Now he's deployed so...he still didn't even get to see this Halloween but I was super surprised.

I wasn't going to pass candy at all because even though I enjoy it, its a lot of socializing and I get exhausted socializing. But my neighbors started going all out with the decorations in those last few days before Halloween. I got nervous thinking maybe I would get trick-or-treaters so I bought a few small bags and I should have gotten more candy. I didn't have enough for the kids I did get. So yeah, next year if we're still here, Ill need to do a much better job. Somebody down the road was making cotton candy on cones and I kept seeing parents walk down the street with what looked like bbq and I'm not gonna lie I was kinda jealous.

I went ahead and took my halloween decorations down and made a hair appointment to get my hair did. I'm aware that Thanksgiving is close but I wasn't aware that it was THAT close so I made a hair appointment. Its been over 6 months since I've had my hair done. I feel guilty because hair is expensive and I just spent a lot on our vehicles and I still need to take my car back to the shop to get its other breaks fixed.
