Mariokart World Opinions 🫧

unpopular opinion, but i’m not all too excited about mariokart world having open world features. they are cool and all but i think its highly likely i’ll get bored of them after a month or so and forget to use it. i don’t really see why mariokart would need a recon mode. my preference would be to be able to explore the borders of the stages, not a different world in itself, its a bit dull to me..

and now i like the concept of driving between the stages but also think thats going to get annoying, i liked having breaks between each stage so i really hope you can toggle that off in the custom vs mode.

and costumes is lowkey a boring idea too i don’t see the appeal in that.. a lot of them are just taken from mariokart tour and that game was garbage so idek what to expect here

call me a hater all u want but i do completely understand why people would like these features i just feel like it doesn’t suit my taste, especially not for a mariokart game, and i’m not sure if these features justify the price for me 🤷‍♀️

however i will say that i’m happy about the newer more obscure characters being added, the new movement features do look cool, and i completely understand why they took out the crossover characters. and i do believe it still has potential to be a good game as it is in reasonably early stages currently and we don’t know much else

if i do end up buying it i am maining one of the obscure random enemies btw 🙏🩵
