Lucilius Thoughts continued

So I've been thinking about Astral lore lately in relation to "To Feed the Machine".

I wonder if Lucilius acknowledging the fact that he's trans trigger the "corruption" that Astrals experience. Like a slow, shifting process. Could he feel himself slowly losing his immortality? Does his status as a Speaker's clone make a difference (maybe grant him some level of immunity?)

Writing Updates:

Alright, so for those of you that follow me for my writing, since I've noticed I've gotten the interest of a few new people: Lies of P: The Memories Meet Malice (Now titled "Anthology Memorium") restructuring has been paused at this time for a couple of reasons. One - with the DLC coming out soon, I want to be able to solidify my timeline. Two - I don't have direct access to the game at this time, so I've lost a huge part of my reference material. This pause is temporary, so be on the lookout! Granblue Fantasy: Hey there! So for To Feed the Machine's restructuring/rewrite: That's been moved up in the list a bit, since I've got a better grasp of those events and reference materials are on hand. For the newly interested: You can find the original here. Please read the content warnings before you really decide to get into this. Persona 5/Royal: Haven't forgotten about y'all, I promise! Post-Game: A Trickster's Tale will in fact get updated as soon as I am able to work on it, but like with Lies of P, it will occasionally require direct reference from in-game sources for things like previous events, so it is not of immediate priority. WMTSB Lore things - Lucilius

Creating a separate post for this because I actually really do want Cygames to do more with this. Spoilers ahead.

If we don't get exactly what happened leading up to the moratorium on Lucilius's research I will riot. You're telling me that the High Council - that has been documented to already dislike Lucilius, wouldn't make a spectacle out of that? I have a desperate need to be a fly on that chamber wall. We know Lucilius has a few bones to pick, but none of the actual justifications for why - and this ties into my original concept post for To Feed the Machine . Heart of the Sun has only made it worse. What was Repti pestering him about? What has Lucilius on edge about Astaroth, and was the latter on the High Council or no? Please, Cygames. Please. I wanna know what precisely happened that made Lucilius wanna fight God enough to potentially risk destroying the entire fabric of reality.

On the opening scene of WMTSB:

We see snippets of the rebellion, right? In one of those snippets we meet Belial and Lucifer - and for the brief moment we do see it, initially, I thought they were still "working together", they didn't seem to actually be fighting. But Lucifer had to have known, right? So today I'm reimagining that scene where the two of them are standing face to face, Belial daring Lucifer to act without saying a single word. And Lucifer just can't do it. He has every opportunity to deal with it right there, to cut off one of the rebellion's key leaders, and yet Belial walks away. Because who wouldn't want one of their closest friends to live, even as they drive the knife right into your back?

I think genuinely it fits him so well. He'd be blasting something in his ears, and then he'd pull out an earbud while someone (watch it be Sandalphon) is trying to get his attention and it's just...

Quick Little Artist PSA

I don't know who needs to hear this today, but I'm putting it out there anyway. Fellow artists of all levels of experience - I don't care if your art isn't getting likes, or comments, or shares. I don't care if the proportions are off, the style is different, or it looks like a five year old drew it and you post it. At least you've posted it, and I'm proud of you for it. It's not AI, and in this world, that's already better than a lot of so-called "AI-artists" out there. Art is a journey, not a race. If you're not happy with where your art is, keep trying. The masters didn't have the expectations we do. Art was their 9-5. They had the space, time, and resources to dedicate to their craft and it still took them decades to reach mastery. You've been stuck in school, in work, dealing with healthcare and battling it at home. You're not bad at art. You're developing it the same way you develop any other skill. This isn't a bike, it's not the same as learning how to swim. It's going to take years to find your niche, and that's okay. I'm rooting for you, and I can't wait to see what y'all make.

A Drawing For You

So I'm posting this particular piece without the text I added so everyone can enjoy it, then I'll post an image with it under a cut and after a content warning since that's fanfic related and I haven't actually posted that one yet. Content Warning before the cut!

Content warning ahead: Suicide Mention, Major Character Death, Non-con mentioned (Note, I am very much apart of the "Don't Like, Don't Read" era of fanfiction, so if you ignore the very obvious warnings, that's on you. If I catch shit for the content I write, you are getting blocked.)

Okay, so this next image, and the reason why it's going under the cut is, it's an image related to an unreleased oneshot in my Memories Meet Malice series, titled Aftermath. If you're familiar with In Memorium, then you'd know that it's Romeo's POV of Carlo after he commits suicide. Aftermath is Carlo's POV of his hospitalization post-SA, as well as the picture of how he died. This is one of his last thoughts, alongside one of Romeo's first professions of love.

I write things!

So as I have under my blog's profile, I do write primarily fanfiction and post on Ao3. I know I haven't updated in a while but it's probably easier to do things here than it is to update several fics right now given the amount of things I have to say and my ability to stare at a screen. To my Granblue Fantasy-oriented readers, if you happen to find me here: I have not forgotten about you. To Feed the Machine is in the process of undergoing a massive restructuring, and it's not the only major project I'm working on. I will get back to it, I promise. As for the other, smaller works: I haven't forgotten about those either. To my Lies of P-oriented readers: I have been undertaking an equally massive restructuring process with my Memories Meet Malice series. Of course, I have the one-shots and the first rewrite still up and they will remain that way. However until I am able to finish this project, Prosperity and Remembrance will be on an indefinite hiatus.

In the mean time, if you have any questions related to the stories, feel free to submit them to the blog! I would love to be more active here. To my readers in general, and anyone who may find my works in the future: As a writer, I am constantly looking to improve my ability to convey my stories to you. I am by no means a professional author, I do this because as someone who has been through a lot, it gives me an opportunity to cope in a way that doesn't damage my body or my mental health any more than my struggles already have. The feedback you all have given me has been valuable and I appreciate it more than you will ever know. Thank you!

So many potentials with her in the DLC for sure. Given that puppet model behind her, I'm wondering if there are others like it. It could explain why in-game (during the memory sequence), the Legendary Stalker tells Gemini to do something instead of just telling Carlo to fuck off. Seems kinda odd to ask a lamp to do something, which might also be why her lamp doesn't glow - yet.

Lies of P DLC

This is a non-exhaustive list of things I think we'll see in the Lies of P Overture DLC after watching that trailer, and things I wish they'd do because I personally think they'd be cool, and tie the whole thing together. List under the cut because even *I* haven't finished playing the game yet, I just write fanfiction in my spare time too.

Things I would *like* to see/Wish they would do: - I want to see our choices in the base game matter. I want to see subtle hints or dialogue changes based on what ending we ended up with. The fact that I'm 98% sure that was baby Spring makes me wonder if we'd see our favorite fur-child react to any obvious changes or lack thereof in our humanity. - Can the things we do in the past please affect the future? If we're able to save this data and go into NG+, can we actually get a chance to maybe befriend Romeo? That would be awesome. I want to see what our options are there, and why Geppetto said "I'm glad you didn't need my help." What do you mean "help", old man? Were you considering invoking the Covenant's orders? - Speaking of Romeo - is he going to be alive at this point? How far back are we talking? If he's alive before the deal, I wonder if we're going to need to persuade him to take it. That male voice in the trailer (the one talking about Stalkers) I'm pretty sure that's Alidoro. Like. The real Alidoro. I was initially thinking Gemini, but given the lamp in the promo banner I don't think that's correct. It works with his sense of justice.

Things I think we will see:

-I believe that we will be actively participating in the Battle of Workshop Tower, if not seeing the results directly after.

-Possibly the Monad Charity House? That lady with the stringed puppet (which btw I'm almost *certain* is a physical representation of the Blue Fairy that *isn't* Sophia) - I wonder if she's Isabelle. Just a hunch, but for there to be a woman with the power to control a puppet like that, with that particular arm attachment, I'm willing to bet it was the wife of Valentinus. And remember, that boarding school is a training facility. -Given this appears to be before all the Stalkers died, perhaps this is where we meet Medoro's team? Along with other Stalkers we'd either heard of or met previously (looking right at you Black Rabbit Brotherhood. Mischief abound? Yeah that's exactly what you'd get into).
