DEATH is IMMINENT but REGRET is PREVENTABLE. At funerals or at deathbeds, REGRET is always present. Countless list of the things they wished they've done or said. Makes you wonder, why we give regret so much power?

Why wait to make a list of the things that you would later regret and just do the things that makes you happy instead? Why not say "I love you", "thank you" or "i miss you" to the people who matter now while they are still alive and not at their funeral? Why not go to places, do what you love and be with your loved ones now and not when you're at your last breath? Why not forgive, appreciate, build each other and understand instead of harboring ill will that prevents you from living your life to the fullest?

Your family, friends and even you, aren't going to live forever.

As Lewis Carroll said, "In the End, we only regret the chances we didn't take"

Are you going to wait until you're dying or someone else is? If not now? When?

Just know that YOU ALWAYS HAVE A CHOICE. You choose your MOOD like how you will choose your clothes You choose your FRIENDS like how you will choose your food You choose to be POSITIVE OR be NEGATIVE. You choose whether you will spend your TIME wisely or not. You may not always control what happens to you but YOU CHOOSE how you will REACT to it.

The question is ARE YOU CHOOSING HAPPINESS OR NOT? If NOT, WHY AREN'T YOU? because HAPPINESS IS ALWAYS A CHOICE and should not be dependent on anyone or anything else.

MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICES.

This is your PERSON.

It’s not necessary a lover but your PERSON.

It could be anyone.

That person is your biggest cheerleader, greatest defender and your truest friend.

No matter what happens, no matter how many days, months or even years had come to past, this person, YOUR PERSON, will still want to grab a cup of coffee or tea or two beers (or more) and share a dessert with you just to hear all about you.

That person misses you everyday and loves you because and in spite of who you think you are. That person sees YOU, the REAL YOU, that you fail to see or refuses to see. That person who had seen the darkest part of you and embraces you with full acceptance. That person believes in you and loves you more than this world’s standards could ever measure. That person knows your dreams and reminds you of what they are if you forgot about them or try to put it in a shelf somewhere. 

This person knows your mood, understands your struggles and nourishes your soul. This person is always rooting for your happiness. This person is just a chat, a text or a phone call away and would drop everything for you. This person is always waiting for you.

This person prays for nothing less than the best for you. And if what’s best for you right now is not to be with this person, this person truly understands.

You know who this person is...

Just know whenever you are ready, 

THIS PERSON is always ready with open arms.

Day 19: #mabsdrawlloweenclub This was a piece I made last year and I just wanted to share this again.

Who said twins should be blood-related? I met my twin in 2013 and she looks like me. We weren’t born at the same day or even the same year but it felt that she was me. She was as dark and as twisted as me. Mwahaha. We were both damaged and broken in almost the same way. We both suffered from severe depression. We also light up when we are together, like we were never broken in the first place. We bared our souls to each other. When she cried, I bleed. When she’s joyful, I’m ecstatic. When I can’t see her or talk to her, it’s like a part of me drowns in misery. No one could ever doubt for a second that we are twins. It might seems creepy but she’s my twin and I am hers. And despite all the shit that happened and all the struggle, we are not just twins, WE ARE #QUEENS.
