One of my childhood best friend’s brother and nephew disappeared while kayaking in Arkansas late last week. Unfortunately they were not wearing life jackets and a storm hit. They still haven’t been found. It just breaks my heart how cruel life is sometimes and how often answers are not provided. That is likely what the family will struggle with most… what happened out there? What were their last moments like? Why did we have to lose a 20 year old boy, just embarking on his life? Vampire Akashi: Character Profile

A/N: The beginning of my AU, the first but certainly not the last of vampire Akashi!!! (finally the prologue is out!) Origins

-Akashi is a son of one of the first vampires, and is amongst the oldest of his kind. -His father was part of some rich, ancient cult organization that made a deal with a demon. -They now are part of the elite worldwide, and essentially rule the vampire world. -Imagine things like deals with world leaders in the shadows. -He's basically a prince in the vampire world.

Biology

-Immortal, obviously. He doesn't remembers his actual human age anymore, but he was sure he was somewhere in his twenties when he turned. -Vampire biology somewhat reflect human biology when it comes to fertility. Meaning the women grow unfertile over time, and whilst men remain fertile; their fertility rate does decreases. Meaning Akashi still can have kids. -He does have a reflection and can stand sunlight, all of that is just bullshit they want you to believe. -Vampires heal instantly from any wound. Fatal wounds can take a bit slower, but not in the case of the old ones like Akashi. He's OP that way. -Vampires can indeed hypnotize people, but the humans in question develop some sort of psychic connection. They cannot feel each other's feelings or hear each other's thoughts, it is not that kind of connection. It's almost like a vampire puts a stamp on someone's mind once they hypnotize them, making them immune to the hypnotization of other vampires. Once you're hypnotized by a vampire, only this vampire can further toy with your mind. It's a way of securing prey, as they are very territorial creatures. -They can hide their fangs, and appear to have human teeth.

History -He never fathered any children. He used to have a wife for over a thousand years, but she never got pregnant. -He and his wife were in an arranged marriage. -It was a very bitter, loveless marriage. -She, alongside his mother were decapitated in a raid by vampire hunters on a tea party for the high society vampire women (the only way to kill a vampire). -He's not as sorry as he feels like he should be about his ex-wife (considering the divorce was messy AF and she was a bitch), but his mother's death broke him. -For the past nearly three hundred years, he has been faking human identities. Not just as a businessman, but as a regular person. The death of his mother made him realize just much he had forgotten how precious life could be. So he's trying to regain his compassion for life by living amongst the fragile mortals.

Earning Living or Losing Living

Oh God! My heart got a shock when i saw a man running on a busy road just about to be knocked down by a car. Thankfully he escaped. I went to him and asked  "what were you rushing towards?" He replied, "I was chasing last bus to my office". Dumbstruck I thought for a while and again questioned him "why do you go office" and he replied "to earn a living". I imagined "to earn a living by losing your live." This was humorously sarcastic. 

I figured out that our today's generation is too swamped in their lives that they hardly find time for their own self i.e. for all whom they are working for.

They are even ready to put their health and safety at triviality. They are not even aware that the things they are neglecting for earning bucks cant be purchased with money, they cost them more than money.

Remember that Money can buy you materialistic things, but it can't buy you happiness, the time that has been elapsed in hustle bustle of making money.

Recall what was the last time you laughed with your family, How ago did you had a fun time with your child last time. Because of this, much stress is taking over people's lives. Their parameters of a happy and successful life depend on how much you are earning?

On social media, you are active but socially you are dormant.

Though this is a social media era, but people are turning less social, they are not aware of who is the family next door.

To all those suffering of panic attacks. This is the key to going around the key part: "omg I am going to die".

To be honest...

Panic attacks. I've had them since I was... some months old... well basically. Affecti craps (no idea what it is in english, I have to research)(also youngest in Finland 1989 recorded at least to get those)= you get so pissed off by something that you stop breathing until you faint. So... I might have an easier viewpoint.

I started getting panic attacks (again, since these childhood episodes don't fall under this name but are similar if not the same) after my granny turned out to be a narcissistic psychopath. I was... 18, perhaps 19.

To me it's a "chaotic I can't breath"-moment. But I understand to others, like shock, it's a "I am going to die"-moment. The pain, specially emotionally, is incredible, but I have never felt the "omg I am going to die"-thing. Not even in shock.

I have felt my body's instinct of "I am going to die" but I am always perfectly aware I am not going to die. I have difficulties explaining it...

I've understood that to most the "you are not going to die" is the most difficult part for them to understand.

To me... I approach this from the worst point of view. Death. So what is it?

Dying is easy. To me that's the thought that calms me down when nothing else will. Death will end all pain.

BUT

You don't have to agree with death. You don't have to go down without a fight. But...

I love buts.

You can't help it. When you die you die, that's as simple as it gets.

So why panic.

Something as puny as a panic attack will not kill you. To be honest death is what you may wish for when you get one. Perhaps that is what you fear. But once you take death as a challenge to the last glorious battle... you'll understand. You'll understand that a panic attack won't be the death of you and you will get above it. They may not stop but you will have a new viewpoint on them and it will be the highest.

Panic attacks are your enemy and it's easiest to fight from a highpoint.

You will not die. The worst you'll get is that you may wish for death, but who doesn't? So... DEATH HAS NO HOLD OF YOU. Those who wish death, hold on to it. Those who fear it, hold on to... fear. But it is life you should hold on to.

Death never has an hold on to us... When we die, we die either holding on to life or to death. Death doesn't NEED to hold on to us. It's all in your mind. All that matters is in your own mind. Death doesn't have an hold on you. It is you who holds on to it, remember that. So let go. When the attack comes let go of death. Tell it "take me if you will" and breathe. Death will not come just like that.

Do not think of things that you love. Your mind will tell you death will come to take them and your panic attack will gain power. Instead embrace death. Think of it as a gentle being, a being who follows us all guarding us untill it is our time. A being completely ingnorant and innocent of the evils of this world. For death comes for us all no matter if we are flea bitten rats or beautiful princesses. A being who comes at our last breath weither we are alone or surrounded by loved ones and hugs us. In its tender embrace we are neither alone or with others, we are with it.

BREATHE SLOWLY in death's gentle embrace and you will see you haven't died and you will live.
