Lab SiRin is a main story I am working on. It's filled with magic, alchemy, advanced technology and many creatures of their world. Including Dragons. SiRin is an experimental living weapon, created to destroy what was wicked. However, she had been placed under sedation and the lab is attacked.. SiRin is taken, but by a man that only cares for her. Years later trouble arises, placing Rin in a very dangerous situation..

Rin.
This is one of the most important main characters for Lab SiRin. She is called Rin but before that she marked as a classified governmental experimentation, her creators giving her the full name of SiRin 19-S.R. The art above is art of Rin, along with some expressions using her eyes.
SiRin was created in the laboratory located on the Rebellions continent. As you read the story it unfolds into explaining why she was made to be. Lead by those of anger and strict on their beliefs. In her egg stages she was monitored as they twisted around her DNA, adding genetics of many species to make her into the ultimate weapon to rid the world of the filth upon it. There is one specific ingredient that is vital in her process, one I'll leave for you to wonder about for a while.
When Rin turned 6 she lost control of herself to do emotional pressures. With her mental state in a "tantrum" the scientists continue to try and calm her, which they decided to place her under sedation for a while until they could find a better handle on her. Talk about one heck of a timeout.
The next time she is awakened it is by a man is a soldiers uniform. This man can't believe that she was merely a child, so he grabbed her and ran away in hopes of giving the child a chance at life.
Thus begins Rin's adventure into the real world, where things aren't so easy.

A bit about these lovely beasts in my story Lab SiRin.
Droaths.
They have been around for centuries, no one knows exactly when they came to be, however it is believed that they have been around about the same time of the dragons. The Ga'Oars are a long time enemy to the Droaths, its fur and scales are designed to handle the heat that its enemies can put out. Though they tower over the Ga'Oar and beat them at strengths, they can't match the agility and speed of the Ga'Oars.
The Draoths have long thick fangs and claws, leaving a powerful bit or swipe of it's dragon-like claws. They hair on its legs, mane and tail harden into sharp, steel-like spikes that increases its defense, but can also be used as a powerful tool. Its eyes sight and hearing are excellent, making them acceptable guardians of the lost islands. They keep intruders from searching the islands for treasures, but most importantly, to keep anyone unacceptable from finding the Dragon's nest.
They'll bond to a non-human easier than one itself, though if they sense something curious ot good about them they'll more than likely complete one with a human until betrayed. They themselves are loyal and very intelligent beasts; the only way to complete a bond with them is to offer up your blood, if accepted the being can leave a marking upon the Draoth with their blood as a sign of its trust and loyalty that it has with its new partner. However, they will not stray from their ties of its duties of protecting the islands.

Lab SiRin
Prologue (Part 1)
Gray clung tightly to his daughter Rin as the ground beneath him shook with violence, the walls that surrounded him crumbled under the force and the ceiling above beginning to crack and threaten to give way on top of them both. The hallways twisted and turned like a maze, making it harder to navigate his way out before the entire building collapsed. Just the thought of it had him holding his four year old child closer against him.
His dark eyes dropped to the little red-headed girl in his arms, she only looked at him with a need of security. She was young after all, it wasn’t shocking that the loud wailing of sirens and chunks of falling debris scared her. He felt her tiny grip tighten on him causing his heart to melt. “Do not worry, Rin.” He said as his eyes scanned the various routes. They seemed to stretch further into the darkness the longer he stared down them. “I’ll get you out of here. I’ll protect you.”
Could he though? He was lost within the basement of the Laboratory with little clue as to which way the exit was. He hadn’t even found stairs leading upwards, now that he thought of it, he hadn’t even seen doors. The last realization made him pause as he glanced around, the walls were bare ad white, chunks dropped off of them as they continued to crack under the pressure of its own structure.
“Gray!” Came the faint shout of his partner, Dustin. He was running towards him, but he didn’t seem to get any closer.”Gray, what the hell are you doing down here?!” He continued to yell. “We need t..”
The rest of the words were drowned out from the sound of crashing beside him as half the ceiling came plundering down, giving him a start. He stumbled forward in hopes he could meet his friend half way, but when he had looked up from the ground his partner had vanished from sight. Confused, Gray came to a stop as he looked around, he hadn’t noticed until that moment that the hallways around him were all darkening, even the path he took there had dissipated from behind him.
“What is going on?” He asked out loud in a panic.
It could be possible that the walls were collapsing, shutting out the light to anywhere other than him. He felt his chest fill with anxiety and fear as he realized he was trapped. There as no way out, the few lights left were the ones shining on Rin and himself. He couldn’t breath, his head was beginning to feel faint, he wanted to apologize to his daughter, he had failed to keep her safe. Yet, when he looked down to do so, she was no longer in his embrace, he held onto an empty jacket that was at one time, around his daughter.
“Rin?” He shouted out.
“You lied.”
Gray’s eyes shot downwards to his daughter, she stood a good twenty feet from him, her bright blue eyes staring accusingly at him. “Rin?” He stepped closer, but paused when she retreated, her glare only sharpening. “What is it, Rin?”
“You lied, Gray.” She responded with hostility. “Why did you lie?”
He shook his head, perplexed by her behavior. As he opened his mouth to respond, he hesitated when he heard a large cracking sound. His brown eyes darted upwards and widened at the sight of the ceiling starting to give way above her. He reached out for her. “Rin, move!” He lunged for her hand, just as the crack gave way and came crashing down.

Introduction
This page is to share my writings, and art of the stories I create. Some will be random short stories and the other(s) will be longer that are cut into a certain amount per post. Sometimes I draw visuals to help me along the way, to connect more with what I write, and I will be sharing some of those as well.
Thank you for finding interest in this page, call me EtteCakes. Let me take you into my worlds and blow your mind. Make you happy, sad, mad, shocked and angered and hopefully make you laugh. My stories vary and they can be weird, but that's the fun in writing up your own world.
Enjoy!
