Tim could have easily had Marisol be the one to have “The talk” with Christopher if he wanted that relationship to blossom. Think about it…. I know Buck has been like a second dad but, Shannon being in the episode, that would have been a chance for her to hand the baton off to Marisol if she was going to be a mother figure in Chris’s life. Could have been “new network, new beginning” but no, Buck was Tim’s choice (thank god) and he even made it relatable to Buck with abandonment issues. 😏

don‘t get me wrong, Buck has grown a LOT over the past seasons, especially this season, but when it comes to relationships, he still settles, he still thinks he‘s not allowed to have this big ass romance, to feel like he deserves the best of the best and i hope season 7 will show him that he‘s deserving of being loved unconditionally

his partners always came with conditions, and he has yet to experience that "they‘ll love me no matter what" feeling
