Aristotle and Dante

Aristotle and Dante: ✩✩✩✩✩

This book I thought was very well written. It displayed a lot of different issues that occur in not only their time but also todays time. Ari and Dante are soulmates. Both romantically and friendship wise. They were always there for each other and never let the other person down. I would recommend this to anyone who asked for a good rec.

Ok so you know that you need help when you start falling in love with 500+ year old winged men. Specifically ones that have a traumatic backstory, has scarred hands that you would love to hold, has shadows that you find very very awesome, stands at about 6'3, is a spy, can very well throw someone off a cliff one moment then go back to cuddling with you the next. Yeah. I need help.

Was anyone else dissapointed with this book? I feel like she really dropped the ball and didn't live up to the first book. It was overall really confusing and the plot was overall the same through the entire thing. Anyone else agree?

I finished the 2nd Shadow and Bone and I have some thoughts. NOTE THERE WILL BE SPOILERS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Okay so first of all.... Mal you really betrayed me. You've been distancing yourself from Alina and its really showing. Then you start fighting and drinking. One time Alina comes to watch you and you kiss Zoya.. of all people really. Come on Mal your acting like a jerk. Stop it. Then of course the whole thing with Nikolai. Like no he is not the man for you, you and Mal forever even when I want to kill him. Then how Nikolais brother got killed. Oh my gosh so much family drama. And now poor Alina has white hair, is skin and bones, and has a lot of trama and issues. I still don't completely understand. Did the Darkling die??

Current read

The current book I'm reading is Shadow and Bone. There will be some spoilers so just be careful! Okay so first off: The Darkling is super cute but.. he is so horrible. Mal is amazing and I really want to give him a hug because he keeps being tortured. Alina is super amazing. Badass and powerful but she keeps shoving Mal to the side. HE IS YOUR FUTURE. JUST DEAL WITH IT! I am so sick of books getting me emotionally attached.
