A little speedpaint of my Lupescu?! 5th anniversary illustration.

5 years ago, I posted the first page of Lupescu?!, a story of a girl growing up in a village of supernatural creatures. I made over 100 pages, updating somewhat consistently over the space of two years.

However, life got in the way as it does and I let this comic fall into an embarrassingly long hiatus, but the story and its characters have never left me. I have the whole story planned out and it feels wrong to abandon it with so much yet to come, which is why I'm committed to continuing the comic.

I also know that my artistic abilities have progressed since 2022, and my style has changed, but I'm not going to redraw the early pages right now. I am planning on hosting Lupescu on its own website eventually, so I might refine things further on down the line, but right now I feel like it's more important to focus on continuing the narrative rather than improving what's already out there.

I still don't have enough time to dedicate to two updates a week at the minute with my work schedule, but even a slower release schedule is better than never finishing it. This world brings me so much joy as well and I really need that creative outlet in my life again.

If anyone's still around from the beforetimes, thank you for being here and I hope you'll give Lupsecu another chance. I can't promise it'll be finished anytime soon, but I'm going to try working on it whenever I can. I'm not ready to let it die.

Lupescu?! will return this summer.
