This might be absolutely Not what happened, but I feel like I need to spell out my thoughts on this. Walk with me... [all /rp btw]

So, we all know that Bad got corrupted by eating Pili's arm. Pili gave Bad his arm and he ate some of it. Now, we also know that Bad has been cocooning himself in corruption at Green Faction Base. That's where he wakes up and goes to bed every day since he's been corrupted. In summary, eating Pili's arm and encasing himself in crying obsidian were the two primary ways that Bad got corrupted and has been able to maintain his condition.

Now, fast forward a bit and we see Bad confessing to Water that he has been corrupted and mentioning Pili's arm. This was after heavy questioning from Water, where she did a tremendous amount of work to get any answer from The Corruption/Bad about what was happening.

Then, at the end of the stream where Pangi and Aimsey battled, we see Bad actively working to corrupt Foolish, with no provocation. Foolish didn't ask any question to incite it, he didn't ask "what made you act so monotone and weird?" It was just Bad trying his darndest to see if he could corrupt Foolish while the King was sat on his throne. (Of course Foolish didn't stop Bad. Partly because he was curious. Foolish has also has shown himself to be very willing to let Bad carry out his antics when he believes it may improve Bad's mood.) And we see Bad using the two methods that have worked on him -- attempting to feed Foolish Pili's arm and encasing him in the crying obsidian.

Where my theory comes in is that this whole attempt was meant to tell Foolish what happened to Bad, giving him all the answers he needed to figure out what was going on. While The Corruption is the one primarily controlling Bad, we have seen little moments of the Regular Bad peeking through, like the moment where he gazed at the sunlight before entering the crying obsidian at the end of one of his streams. A rather solemn and emotional moment for someone fully controlled by the corruption. We also see some of his care showing for Pangi when trying to prepare him for the 1v1 with Aimsey. We also see Corrupted Bad being rather aggressive and killing mobs after not receiving messages at the Cathedral. His entire convo with Aimsey also had this undertone of being a cry for help. So, I can't help but think that this desperation to corrupt Foolish, or at least to have him understand what was happening, stems from emotions that are distinct from The Corruption and it's ultimate goals. I cannot wait to see if The Corruption/Bad is questioned about this moment as I hope it may illuminate the fact that, in spite of it's best efforts, The Corruption has not been able to numb all of Bad's attachments and emotions.

Part of tr!bads nature is to be very distrusting, he has thousands of years of experience with humans and how they act so he obviates everything. Q: was the door improvised? A: yes. Q: does tr!bad actually believe that killing lukeys the solution? A: Well he believes it but in the same way that someone convinces themself of something till you provide them with a better argument. Remember you gotta ask what happens when you take an entity that views death as an extension or another stage of life and just extrapolate them. Is that corrupted entity gonna view things the same way Q: how much does Steve know about bbh? A: well I mean are they the same person? If you add stuff to milk it makes cheese, so would you say cheese and milk are different?
