Eventtus at Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship 2016

This weekend Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship is taking place between 21 - 24 January, 2016 and we’re happy to kick off 2016 with one of the biggest sports events in the region. Eventtus launches Arabic Event App for ArabNet Riyadh!

We’ve been working closely with ArabNet team in the last few months to develop ArabNet Riyadh official app. We’re extremely happy to launch the Arabic version for the first time. The app supports both Arabic and English content.

Eventtus joins Google's BlackBox Connect Accelerator at the heart of Silicon Valley

We're extremely proud to announce that Eventtus has been selected to join BlackBox Connect Fall 2014 powered by Google for Entrepreneurs.

Blackbox Connect is a two week immersion program for startup founders who are based outside the United States. International founders travel to Silicon Valley, where they have the opportunity to live, work and collaborate with like-minded founders from around the world and participate in meetings and workshops with entrepreneurs, investors, executives and experts from Silicon Valley. The program starts September 29th with 16 startups from around the world. Google for Entrepreneurs and BlackBox announced the selected startups in a press release last week. September is very busy month here at Eventtus, we're also going to Startup Istanbul mentorship program and the conference.

Eventtus is going to Startup Istanbul

We're very happy to announce that Eventtus is selected as one of the top 100 startups by Startup Istanbul. Startup Istanbul is the leading startup event which brings together founders, investors and executives in the Eurasia region.

The event kicks off with a 2-day intensive training event for the selected startups on the 27th of September. The trainings will be held in the Microsoft Office İstanbul. After the trainings, the startups will pitch to the jury on the 29th of September to get the pitching spots at Startup Istanbul 2014.

The event brings speakers and mentors from around the world like Dave McClure of 500Startups, Neil Patel of KISSmetrics, Michael Seibel of Y-Combinator and much more..

Eventtus 3.0 - Big step towards mobilizing events!

We are thrilled to introduce eventtus V3.0 for iOS. The app is now available for iPhone with elegant interface and more features to enjoy events. The android version is also available on Google play. We've redesigned the app from top to bottom to make it easier to discover great events happening in your city and make the most out of every event.

With Eventtus 3.0 it's easier to get event's updates, track the agenda and find speaker profiles. Networking

Finally, sell and purchase your tickets online!

Today we are very happy to introduce online payment, now you can sell and purchase your event's tickets online.

Our goal is to make it easier for event organizers to deliver great events, today we are one step closer to that by enhancing selling and purchasing tickets. If you're organizing an event, you can easily setup your event page, add your ticket's details and start selling tickets online in a few minutes. 

We are extremely proud to work with Payfort, the leading online payment gateway in the Middle East.

We also support offline payment in Egypt through our retail partner at Vodafone stores and we are working on more payment options. Stay tuned for more details.

We are excited to introduce limited seats for events, it's a feature that many of you have requested in the last few months and we are very happy to launch it today. Now you can add the capacity of your event and apply limit on the number of tickets available at your event.

Manually approved tickets, where event owner filter applicants according to pre-defined criteria and only those who are approved will get their tickets. It’s perfect for limited seats events that target specific audience.

Automatically approved tickets, first come first serve, no criteria is applied to your guests list.

And today we are adding maximum number of seats, where the ticket will close automatically after reaching the limit.

Eventtus talks about "The Art Of Bootstrapping" at MWC14 and WIPJam

Mobile World Congress ( MWC ) is the world’s premier mobile industry event and one of the largest mobile industry events in the world. MWC 2014 is one week away on February 24 - 27 at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain.

Last year at Mobile World Congress 2013, Eventtus app won AT&T Application Resource Optimizer (ARO) contest as the most efficient mobile application at WIPJam event. 

WIPJam is the biggest mobile developers event with unusual tracks and sessions for mobile developers. ( Register here )

This year we are heading to Mobile World Congress 2014 with much more exciting updates and activities.

This year our CEO, Mai Medhat will go back to MWC but this time as a speaker, she will be telling eventtus story at WIPJam event story telling track. Mai's session is on Tuesday, February 25 at 9:45 am about:

Eventtus at the heart of Silicon Valley

Few days ago our Cheif Product Nihal Fares flew away to San Francisco to join PITME Labs. Eventtus is joining squad 01 a month long bootcamp with 10 other startups from the Middle East. 

PITME™ aims to turbo-charge the Middle Eastern startup eco-system by providing access to Silicon Valley resources. Last October we announced winning a scholarship to the program during Middle East Demo Day.

The program is divided into modules of topics: 

Week 1: Product Week

Week 2: Business Development Week 

Week 3: Marketing / PR Week 

Week 4: Investment Week 

And a Demo Day at the end of the program where participants will pitch their companies to entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and technologists from both the Middle East and Silicon Valley focused on bridging the two regions.

PitchNRide is a unique event that puts an entrepreneur in the back seat of a cab with an investor. The entrepreneur does not know who the investor is until they get in the cab. They have exactly the time it takes for the cab to circle Tahrir Square to make their pitch. No presentations, just their skills to convey the idea and engage the investor.

There will be a range of investors from angels to VCs. If the investor is really interested they will hand the entrepreneur their business card. The whole thing will be recorded on video and the best will be shown on YouTube during and after RiseUp.

Wamda's Pitch N' Mentor is the first of its kind face-to-face pitch-perfecting event in the region. Entrepreneurs join breakout groups with experts as they learn how to perfect their 1-minute elevator pitch for both investors and the media.
