What would you say was the easiest chapter/liar thingie to figure out out of all the games? I'm guessing it'd be one of the 1st liars but maybe there are super easy ones in games i haven't played 😭

Hmm I'll definitely miss some but for me the one that sticks out most as being the easiest was Doubt season 4 9th liar which was surprising since usually the last liar is meant to be very difficult. I remember picking that one early on and being like "do I really have the answer or am I being misled?"

Then also Liar Season 1 (uncover the truth) 3rd liar and perhaps Liar Season 2 (office deception) 2nd liar.

Exams are over and I'm free!!! Anyways would you say that Uncover the Truth/lying men is worth playing for the mysteryish aspect if you're not invested in the romance? Idk if that's a weird question, hope I'm not bothering you

Yes, I would definitely say it's worth playing. I don't really think there is much of the romance/otome touch actually except maybe the liar files which goes more in depth. I always loved the unique game play and except for some obvious liars I always found myself scratching my head at the accusation part since I found that all three potential liars had a lot of clues pointing to each and I would often get stuck lol

Doubt has at long last returned, in the japanese version of the Love 365 app. Unfortunately at the moment it is only Season 5. I wonder why they started with this season

Not a spin off but they released like 3(?) mini doubts which only have 6 characters (5 liars). The first mini doubt was the cruise story you are referring to

Ahaha I miss the days of procrastinating high school/uni exams and just playing liar/otome games. Only liar season 2-4 had female characters. I think top for me is Hime-chan then Karen (I liked her character design) and while not a liar, Sumika

I literally just got into Liar! (Though I'm only planning on playing office deception tbh) and I just gotta say tysm for all of the content you're providing 😭 I've been spoiled on the entirety of the Office plotline (I read the tvtropes page which was actually what made me want to play it), but I was wondering if you remembered whether any of the ends were particularly disturbing (I only finished liar 2 so far) bc I kinda get easily affected by media 😭 again I gotta say tysm for doing this

Aww that's so sweet. Off the top of my head the bad end for Liar 3 was pretty bad for the MC and Liar 7 MC gets abducted

Like most final 'liars' they don't exactly get their own CG per se but that final scene in the epilogue is definitely in one of the liar files. And he would also have some random CGs from various liar files that have extra stories like the other characters too

I've been playing Liar the English version for so long but only found out about the season 4 and 5 yesterday. I was really sad lol because i love Liar, but the fan base is small, the season 3 was kinda boring, and there isn't any event or lover route etc (cause Voltage kinda abandon the English ver i think). I stumbled upon your Tumblr and just binge read the entire season 4. I just want to say thanks you for translating it, it was fun for me to guess and experience it, felt like i was actually playing it in a way. I hope you can talk a bit more about season 5. But I hope your day is going well and i appreciate what u do!! 🥺❤️

Aww this means so much! It certainly was quite the effort so to hear you say that it made you almost feel like you were playing it is SO heartwarming. I wanted to include the hints and evidence so had to find a way to do that.

And yeah it's always made me sad that the fan base is so small, especially because there has been no updates for eng/jp for forever so it's only natural. I just hope that for at least a few people once in a while we will remember the game and smile and think of the times we had while playing it :)

Actually the jp app is already gone.. it is not in the app store and it no longer opens at all on my phone. I've been waiting for it to be added to love 365 jp but I don't think it has been yet. I honestly don't even remember season 5 at all now (it just was not as good as season 4) so would need to replay it to remember.

Hi! This is the same anon who asked about the character profiles. I'd love to see them translated and no worries for answering late. I'm okay with anything as long as it's readable!

Also, regarding my other question, I was talking about your top characters. I liked Yuu-kun and Hime-chan too. They're both really likable! Though I understand the hate for Yuu-kun because of plot-related things. I'm keeping this as spoiler-free as possible, so I won't say specifically what. For my list, I'd put Yuu-kun first, followed by Hime-chan, and then Tokiwa-kun. These are my top three!

Come back tomorrow and I'll have the profiles done! They're kind of basic though and my translations aren't the best, because they use kind of poetic/eye-catchy phrases which I don't know how to translate nicely in English.

The three that I said are definitely my top three, but Tokiwa-kun also comes in quite highly too cause he's a cheeky little kid. I bet I would get annoyed with him in real life though lol.
