this place hasn’t really been active, I am no longer in the fandom due to a LOT going down and I just fell out of it. 

thought about either leaving the blog as is, giving it away or deleting it. I haven’t come to a conclusion yet.

Hallo, Matt here! So about those beyond realities.

I didn't actually create it

I wrote for an anon who gave me the idea. But I am happy to hear that it's remembered! So to the orginal anon (who sadly I will never know about because there could be false claims) thank you for the great AU idea! And to those writing for it!

So, y'know the Beyond Realities AU? I was thinking about it and, even though the actual Eddisodes are gone, would the fan art stuff be gone? Like, since fan art/fanfics aren't canon would they be affected by the boys coming to the real world? Just cause I got a story idea for it but I wasn't sure ~(you might know who this is but I'm a coward so oh well)

So um, fun fact, I recently got sucked back into Eddsworld, and while scrolling through @ew-trash‘s account I found a cool AU of Matt’s called Beyond Realities. And then I kept thinking about it so I made a little drabble here. I might write more for this, idk (probably). But, I hope you enjoy!

Also I’m sorry if the writing’s bad it’s literally 3 in the morning and I wrote this impulsively without editing it sooo :p

Also also I wrote it in third person, but it is a reader insert deal. Just thought I’d let you know (this is pretty much self insert trash oh well)

Ahhh I love your blog sm!! How would the boys be around an easily flustered S/O? Like, they get embarrassed by any compliments or physical affection

Edd- puns. Many many bad but affectionate puns. Whatever makes you laugh or all flustered- he loves you so much and you being a little blushy mess brightens his day

Matt- As much as this boy loves receiving compliments, he also loves giving them to his s/o! He honestly probably wouldn’t even mind your flustered state as he showers you with all the nice things that come to his head, you’re his little purple patootie after all.

Tom- This boy gets flustered too, probably not as heavily of course but you both will be stammering messes when exchanging compliments,honestly would prefer singing you something cause he gotta get that affection across regardless

Tord- probably teases you more than edd. Correction. He can and will tease you more than edd. Whether in front of friends or not, he’ll lay every compliment he has, every cute little Norwegian name, every affectionate or lewd joke, the whole package. Thinks red looks good on you after all

Boys reacting to their normally reserved SO being able to pole dance?

aaaaa- new mod here, (mod dizzy I guess??) idk if you meant as in a side hobby or like an instructor class so I went with hobby sndhdh, apologies if I’m wrong

Edd-To say in the least, he was very surprised when he found out (not that he was complaining however—) but he’s nonetheless supportive of your side hobby!

Matt-The ginger doesn’t mind whatsoever! He’s the most supportive out of the 4 right off the bat! He loves you!

Tom-He won’t say much at first, partially because he genuinely doesn’t care, as long as you don’t hurt yourself- but it’s interesting to see you do something so bold when you’d usually be the exact opposite. Overall the most neutral about it out of the four boys.

Tord- That’s cute. He’ll smirk and probably make some lewd comment, And him being Tord, he’ll tease you about giving him a little “demonstration” sometime.

Boys with a S/O that can say something normal and just bursts into laughter, like, they say how was your day and just start giggling quietly for NO reason

It’s random of their partner to be giggling after saying hello and the sorts.What are you hiding? Is there something on their face? Shirt? Why are you giggling? IS there a joke that the boys aren’t aware of? Boy howdy.

 Is it just a quirk? oh!Ha, that a relief nothings wrong and they aren’t out of the loop.it’s such an adorable quirk that honestly makes whatever bad day they had a little better just talking to their partner

BY all means! These boys love their laugh! 

Edd would take this as a chance to make more awful jokes, just to hear their wheezy laugh. It makes him think he’s a lot funnier than he really is.

Tom doesn’t laugh a lot and when he does actually howl, he’s a wheezer too. He has to calm his ass down before he starts snorting. But he’ll try and make his partner laugh regardless.

Matt is a little bit surprised, but finds it to be the cutest damn thing about his partner. He’ll actually stop talking just to listen to their wheezy giggles. and then proceed to go on about how adorable that is. He isn’t good at jokes so he just tells them and hope something makes them laugh
