Hey, white Steven Universe fans. These are all the POC in the cast of Steven Universe. You notice how 3 of the 4 leads are WOC? Or how this is more than 2/3 of the extended cast of the show? Representation matters. Trying to litigate the racial background of these characters because you want to identify with them as white is fucking shitty. Stop it. White people are massively over-represented in TV shows and movies. We don’t need to steal back characters whose creators have deliberated coded as non-white.

Sorry for being on a short hiatus and not posting. We had an unfortunate event going on in our part. We are extremely sorry to say that mod bee will be taking a short break due to school and family issues. She hopefully will be back soon, but we are trying to comfort her in every way possible and not really paying attention to the blog. Mona and i have been wrapped up in midterms, Valerie is a dancer and doesn't get on much, Urie is in a band and doesn't get much free time, as they are the oldest out of all of us, and Kai just doesn't post much.
