I was today years old when I learned that a blow dryer can straighten your hair. Like what the heck! I have naturally curly hair and after I blow dried it I looked in the mirror and had a mini heart attack because my hair was suddenly straight. I kinda freaked out when I looked in the mirror and it wasn’t cause of my ugly face.

You know your tired when you use the restroom and start talking to yourself through the mirror. I’m talking a full ass conversation. I even started doing stand up comedy TO MYSELF through a mirror. I don’t even do standup comedy and I came up with a whole ass routine Like:

Me talking to a mirror: I have lots of siblings and never had privacy till I was 15 and my sister moved out

Me talking to a mirror: BEST DAY OF MY LIFE

Me talking to a mirror: I could move all my stuff out of the little corner I occupied

Me talking to a mirror: I literally had a wall and a quarter for my decorations and the rest was her

Me talking to a mirror: As you can imagine her closet space was the first to go

I literally sounded like a grown woman talking back on her life. Wtf is wrong with me I need some help why do I do this like why.

So I was listening to the Hadestown soundtrack the other day and you know what I just realized, the song Why We Build The Wall goes hand in hand with the book series the Red Queen. The reds are fighting a war that is never won and live out their lives serving silvers just like how the “spirits” from Hadestown serve Hades and keep building the wall despite it being useless like the war. The war and wall in both cases are used to control them and keep them busy/afraid. Talk about mind blowing.

You know what book scene always makes me feel so many emotions at once and not just crying. The Cupid scene from House of Hades. It makes me feel so angry towards Cupid for being such a jerk and picking on my Nico and then Jason being all supportive and accepting just warms my heart and I’m screaming at Nico to realize how everyone cares about him. Then I just want to cry for Nico and how he was forced into his confession like that, like let him do it in his own time.

My niece just told me she had read the maze runner series and I’m over here getting all excited, screeching and bouncing around about to go total fangirl on her when she says, “I’ve read kill order, maze runner and death cure.” IN THAT ORDER. I literally died inside, went into the fetal position and just started moaning nononononononono like a wounded animal while hyperventilating, it sounded like someone died or was dying which I was. My mind was screaming like, OMG THIS POOR CHILD I NEED TO TEACH HER I NEED TO TEACH HER THE WAYS OF THE WORLD I NEED TO MAKE SURE THIS TREACHERY NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN. I hurled those books at her and demanded she read them. Smh
