He cracks his open his eyes, panting, his whole body shaking as he feels his heart thudding hard and heavy against his chest, his blood roaring in his ears, and he slowly moves to sit up, his whole body trembling as he tries to register the fact that he was safe. He was safe. No harm would come to him here. No… He sees the glowing visor of an exorcist’s mask across the lobby in the darkness, and he feels himself screech, slamming himself back against the doors as hard as he can, his hood flaring up wide as his eyes shrink with terror. He doesn’t move, every part of his body pressed flat to the frame of the door, watching that glowing, glimmering visage with all the fear of a cornered mouse under the gaze of a hungry cat.

She's unamused, looking deadpan at the sinner that's wormed it's way into the embassy. She'd stab him...if he were in any other location in Hell but the Angelic Embassy, here she's not allowed to harm the sinners. Bloodshed cannot be abided in the embassy, per the rules and agreements made between Lucifer and Sera. So now that he was here, and to be frank he's not the first one to break in to hide, she can't do a damn thing to him.

He's no longer viable for execution.

Lute sighed, and then pointed her heavenly blade at the sinner, and jerked it to the side to motion towards on of the meeting rooms in the building. "Go in there. You're plenty safe here in the Embassy, you had to know that, which is why you broke in. So go wait out the extermination, just as you intended."

"And stop looking so pathetic and scared, bloodshed isn't allowed in here."

Well… the end of this song seemed funny to me, and I tried to make an animatic??? 😭 Do not judge strictly, my maximum is only capable of five-second memes, but I tried to make it watchable Well, even if it didn't work out, the main thing is the idea, right? "Your confidence in is is appreciated, sir. It's an honor to fight in your name." Lute might be a smidge bloodthirsty, but that's part of how she advanced in ranks and ended up as one of the best Exterminators Heaven had. She's bloodthirsty, ruthless and incredibly skilled with weapons.

"Looking forward to the afterparty too, I bought a new leather jacket I'm planning to wear. Can't wear it into battle, sadly, but if I could wear it all the time I would. It's a nice jacket."

" Oh no faith this time, Lute. It's pure belief. I KNOW our numbers are going to make Hell shit itself. They'll regret ever taking one of ours."

Extermination was fun as fuck. But he loved afterwards too. The celebration, the girls all happy and laughing as they partied. It was, weirdly enough, a great way for the force to bond.

And it made him feel like he accomplished something more than just what Sera allowed him to do....

"I'm having an argument with some of my girl friends." Lute stated calmly, then turned and started walking away, towards the axe throwing place.

"You're either coming axe throwing with me or not, sir. Either way I'm throwing something sharp." She's not waiting on him to decide to follow or not, he already said 'lets go' so she was going. He'd have to keep up.

He can't help but laugh at her reaction. That was probably the best one yet.

"Alright if it's not that, then what's up?"

He takes another sip. More like he's just making that annoying sound when you're out of drink at the very bottom of your cup. He needs more soda.

"Oo wait axe throwing? Fuck yes! Let's fuckin' go!"

"Am I--WHAT? That's the dumbest thing that's ever left your mouth. With all due respect...sir." She had to catch herself from speaking back to him like that. He is her boss after all.

"Does it even matter if I'm having PMS? I want to let off steam! We should go axe throwing, it'll be fun, and I'll feel better getting to throw axes at pretend people." She didn't explain why she's so wound up...and she didn't want to now.

She takes the feather, holding it close to her chest, and lowers her blade away from him. She might be crass and violent, but she didn't want to stab Adam.

"Thank you. I'll keep it on me the whole time." She's grinning kind of stupidly at him, and quickly goes back to the topic of the extermination. "They're fighting back now that they've figured out they can. Don't worry though, I have faith our number of exterminated souls will bump way up this time."

Huh....would you look at that! It was a tiny adorable little halo. Fuck, that made him feel a teensy bit warm and fuzzy inside. He had a better idea for a good luck charm.

Instead, he reached for one of his largest flight feathers and plucked it out. An absolutely giant feather that was golden and glimmering like polished metal.

He offered it to her.

" I hope my feather gives you even more luck out there tomorrow...."

"I can talk ∂ιятιєя if you like. I sharpened my best blades for this purge." She pulls out a sword and swings the blade right into Adams face, not harming him but holding the blade up to his eyes.

"Look." The blade has a halo carved into it, the halo looks like his. "It's my good luck charm."
