Who's going where when tumblr starts this puritanicle cleansing of naughty pictures? Ive looked at mastodon but it seems to be exclusively porn lol. I'm looking for something more broad, like good Old tumblr, where I can find aquascaping, art, dog stuff, memes, and yes look at some dirty nasty porn if I so choose. Prudes are one of my least favorite things in this amazing world and I will NOT abide. Let me know. I love this community and dont want to lose it.

So about two years ago a friend offered to take care of my baby bichir while I moved and until i was able to get a tank together big enough for them to live comfortably. The day finally came yesterday and I'm so happy to have them back. They've grown to well over twice the size they were when I last saw them. The ornate (balerion) is over 8" long! Lat time I saw him he was barely 3". My Senegal (viscerion) is almost 7" and was not even 2" when I got him. He was such a little bitty baby. They've both taken to hiding in and around the christmas moss. They have both settled in well and my synodontis has made sure they know the hole between log and rock ar his.

How dark dark beer should be. So dark light doesn't get through and more alcohol than the average bottle of wine. Pretty delish

Alright dammit I give. What am I doing wrong. Ph is right around 7.5, no ammonia, no nitrites, acceptible nitrates, tds tester comes in around 430ppm, base tap water here is around 230ppm. I do no monthly water changes and replace nutrients with recommended Seachem dosage, substrate is caribsea eco complete, marine land filter with sponge in half and standard cartridge in the other, I'm at a loss. I feel like ive covered all my bases and yet my plants just rot away. This is frustrating as fuck. I just want a pretty tank goddammit. Suggestions welcom

Saltwater for a beginner

Does anyone have any good recommendations of resources for saltwater beginners? I want to start a saltwater tank but have never delved into what all there is to it. I'd like to start with a smallish tank (10 to 30g). I have seen that it's easier to start with a bigger tank but I just don't have the space for another large tank. Any help would be appreciated.
