It's utterly magnetic when a character's rage is quiet and precise. When they don't scream and throw things but they just b r e a t h e and very very calmly aim their fury like an arrow shooting inexorably towards the target of their wrath. It captures my attention, I lean in close, I wait for the hit. It never disappoints.

I have so many of these with their custom magic as I try to come up with something for all of them OR my character idea actually starts from a cool idea for some magic or sth. For example...

My main Ylanniss is a mesmer. He always had knack for this one and he trained in it because he got lucky and had a mentor. But he is also a follower of Grenth since a child - and as Grenth says to abandon all illusions, Ylanniss doesn’t use illusions of any kind or clones. He's trained in anti-magic spells, imagine something like Nullifying Field but a whole domain about it. He's capable of negating spells as in deconstructing them back into ley magic. He also uses chronomancer magic and has some custom wells. Outside mesmer magic he can open portals to the Underworld but that's part of his belief in the god of death. For a weapon he wields either a sword or a whip and a shield.

Other OC of mine, Kerrian, in game has 2 slots, one for ranger, one for guardian for different clothing and weapon options cuz I rped him a lot. He used to be a guardian but swapped to revenant after the new magic was discovered (as he lost his belief in his guardian values and lost access to his magic). He used to commune Shiro first but swapped to Master Togo (ritualist like spells, connected with lighting too). Not that long ago he also started channeling legend of Nika (thief/assassin) but doesn’t use her abilities often. He also have more Mist-connected skills than are available in the game. His favorite weapons are sword and metal fan.

For your GW2 OC (or OCs)–what is their class? Do you consider them cut and dry one of the in-game classes, or do they have their own special class outside of those limitations? What are their favourite weapons to fight with? Have they always been this class, or have they changed classtype over their time on Tyria? What started them off on that path of that class (natural more knack for magic? et cetra)?

1. I started 01.11.2012 but I played for like 17 levels and then I came back to gwme like 1 year later and really started to play the game.

2. The one I created in 2012 was a norn guardian female but I didn't play her except these 17 levels so you can say my true first character was my male human mesmer.

11. I guess it would be Perfected Envoy Breastplate (pve legendary heavy armor chestpiece) because I love the wings animation on weapon unseathe!

37. Tips: 1) pick whatever race and class you like, any class is viable now and you can tey out classes at pvp lobby since level doesn’t matter there 2) join a guild! You can ask question your fellow gw2 players with more experience 3) have fun! Enjoy urself!

38) Best memory... Not sure if best but it was happy and fun times with custom build kiters on Dhuum with old friends. My early RP days were fun too.

39) I am definitelly an altoholic and I try to get diifferent things to do with each character

40) Biggets bothers rn... dawn/dusk fish. I hate short time frames or adjusting ur whole schedule to camp for an event for 5 min that doesn’t guarantee success. Also that Tyria and EoD has different day/night time and I only discovered that recently. That birthday rewards are getting worse and worse.

Not all characters have a mount but some of them do. Two more thought about would be ones of...

My sylvari ex-Warden Arval does own a raptor named Ember now. While on his justicar spree in Elona, he encountered a Ley-crazed raptor that he cleansed from Ley magic with his guardian flames. Since then the raptor accompanies Arval on his journey.

My human ex-gladiator/mercenary Charon that hunted his lion griffon as a part of interesting challenge-bounty. He took part in it to see the creaturr because he loves lions a bit too much. During the event he fought off other contestants and helped the griffon to free himself from net trap. The griffon is very intelligent and sometimes maybe more than Charon himself. They managed to create a bond though it took some time before Charon could fly on its back. They travel together since Charon is mostly out in the wilderness, they play and hunt together. The griffon has some mesmer abilities and his name is Lord Hyperion which Charon created in a long process of mixing cutout letters from newspapers.

My favorite mount in game is probably... jackal. It's so fun to run around and blink and blink and blink and bl-

Last one for the challenge. But more of a cubism inspiration than an actual work. I don't like this style and its colours are terribly ugly for me for the most part so I tried to do something inspired that I like a lil bit. And thus, the challenge is complete! I hope this one doesn't feel too underwhelming compared to the surrealism one 😆

Politics. Stuck-up aristocrats. Etiquette. He had enough of being a lord sometimes, despite all his love for Kryta and the queen. With time it got way more boring and tiring, all the intrigues and games, than Giovanni wished it would be. He sometimes pondered if his father joined the White Mantle cause just to see some change. Ah, he missed his younger days a lot. Not of because his father betraying the country, of course, but because it was a time of freedom. Not like anyone could order him around now really, even the queen, but not being a widely known aristocrat made everything easier.

So when an opportunity appeared to shed this skin for some time at least, he gladly caught a lift with Kasmeer to where nobody knew him - Cantha. A bit of holidays he deserved, leaving all diplomatic stuff to her, just as she would want anyway, to prove herself.

It were hell of active holidays though, there was so much new stuff to discover and try, and what of course did not escape Giovanni's attention was how Canthan mesmers wielded magic. Being a duelist at heart and an avid learner, he quickly threw himself into studying the ways of a virtuoso. All the excitement running in his veins made him feel at least 20 years younger, finally getting to match his looks.

How could I celebrate Pride Month without my biggest gay? Good thing I got this idea randomly during a dungeon 😆

Gio's forever young aromantic homosexual man and the first character in GW2 universe I created outside the game before making him there later, hence cool violet hair streak. Still livid to this day that later they added similar hair only for females just to spite me.

Where the unexpected meetings lead Kerrian didn't think getting lost would end up with him following a stranger through mystic places like this in the middle of the night. But the blind guide somehow knows where one can see the most beautiful things.

Finally finished, my entry for United Art of Tyria art contest! A small scene with my OCs Kerrian, Xiu and Yue (the tigress!), a beginning of a new adventure for these 3! I imagine this scene as Xiu leads Kerrian to his temple and they encounter the forest spirits along the way. It's been a challenge since I rarely draw backgrounds but I actually had a lot of fun with drawing it. But now I feel it lacks sth 😆 can't even feel satisfied for 2 mins
