ALSO. on the concept of funky genders. "socially unacceptable" genders or "genderweird" people i love you. transmascs who are girls i love you. transfems who are men i love you. transmascs who feel transfem and transfems who feel transmasc i love you. everyone who feels like their gender is too "weird" or "complicated" or are an "oxymoron or self-contradictory" i love you and we are all trans and good and community and perfect ok.

I love the word “transgender” but it’s really been sanitized for me. Transsexual though? that one is hot. It makes cis people flinch.it’s one of those words that people write songs about. makes you feel like a rockstar.

These are the everyday people who give us flavor and color. Not everyone can be a tv drag queen or a hot muscle butch on Instagram, and those who aren't, those who are loud and unapologetic, unhip and truly Queer in both senses of the word are the ones who you will meet, and often the ones who will make a difference
