Something else we were robbed of during D3? Mal’s hair becoming fiery like her fathers when she used the stone as a human, wouldn’t that have been cool! And it would have solidified their father/daughter thing since Hades hair only really went fiery when he was using the ember also

Absolutely 100% valid - looking back they probably couldn’t have beaten the armor without magic, you’re absolutely right!

The dance-off took away from the danger of the situation and also makes no sense in defeating the armor. Looking for logic in fantasy movies isn’t a great idea, but looking for the internal logic of the movie itself is absolutely right and nothing we’ve seen across the three movies suggests that the ‘dance magic’ can defeat the spell Audrey was using.

Okay so as much as I love Night Falls as a song the whole dance-off ending to the song just annoys me so much because in D2 we got It’s Goin’ Down which showed off all the characters abilities to actually fight well with swords, so why didn’t that translate? Why didn’t they literally just defeat the suits of armor with the swords? Why make it a dance-off when literally all the characters have already been shown in canon to be good swordsmen and swordswoman?

Like, I genuinely thought that the whole ‘make this armor bust a move’ thing was a joke because I was like ‘there’s no way seven VK’s with really good sword fighting skills would lose to suits of armor’

(I have more issues with D3 but I don’t wanna get into them because im highly critial of all media I watch, but this one bothers me a lot)
